摘要： PURPOSE:To aim at improvements in the simplification and operatability of setting jobs, by installing a load detecting device inclusive of a flat spring in a brake lever member, in case of a device that makes a maximum braking state of a parking brake for large-sized automobiles, etc., detectable. CONSTITUTION:A device bearing the above caption rotates a cam 4 of a parking brake 2 via a brake lever member 6 by locking an end part 11a of an outer cable 11 belonging to a cable 10 via a bracket 13. And a brake shoe 5 is expended by rotation of the cam 4 to press itself closely to a brake drum 3, thus braking force is secured right. In this case, the end part of the inner calbe 12 is connected to the end part of the said lever member 6 via a sensor 14' serving as a load detecting device. This sensor 14' is constituted of a flat spring 25 to be compressed and deformed by such tensile force as more than the specified value of the cable 12 and a detecting switch 29 to be operated in time of the deformation of the spring via a keep plate 26.

摘要： PURPOSE:To adjust the preload onto the bearing of a differential device easily and accurately, by transmitting the shaft load of a drive pinion shaft coupling through a shaft load distribution member engaged with the drive pinion shaft to the bearing member. CONSTITUTION:A hypoid gear 10 integral with the shaft member 5 will gear with a ring gear 11 secured to the defcase. A coupling member 6 will spline fit to the shaft member 5 while a shaft load distribution member 21 is screwed to journal the shaft member 5 with the bearing members 13, 14. When the nut 8 is fastened, the coupling member 6 will move axially to press the shaft load distribution member 21. The pressing force is transmitted to the shaft member 5 while a portion of it is transmitted to the bearing member 14 to preload.

摘要： PURPOSE:To simplify the manufacturing process of a composite gear capable of transmitting large torque for use in a final reduction gear. CONSTITUTION:A composite gear 130 is integrally composed of a spur gear 140 and a bevel gear 150 having a smaller pitch circle diameter dimension than the pitch circle diameter dimension of the spur gear. The body 152 prepared from the bevel gear 150 by precision forging is integrally fixed to the spur gear body 132 by frictional pressure welding. Since the frictional pressure welding surface 162 is located in the recessed part 136 provided in the spur gear body 132, the bevel gear 150 can be compactly integrated. Burrs produced during the frictional pressure welding escape into the recessed part 136. If necessary, a ring-shaped member 200 for shutting up the inlet of recessed part 136 is provided to prevent scattering of the burrs.
