摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily adhere a triple wall corrugated fiberboard sheet by substantially equivalently urging the sheet to a heating platen without depending upon a belt in the case of moving the sheet while heating to dry paste in a double facer, and upgrading air permeability of the sheet with the peripheral atmosphere. SOLUTION: An urging plate 36 supported to a support beam via a parallel linkage is urged by a spring 40 of a compressed state to urge a triple wall corrugated fiberboard sheet W to a heating platen 18. The sheet W is moved while being brought into slidable contact with the plate 36 and plate 18 to be heated and dried. A plurality of the plates 36 are aligned to form a lateral row in a width direction of the sheet, and a plurality of the lateral rows are also aligned in a longitudinal direction of the sheet.

When the slotter shaft 18 is rotated, the fluting blade 14 arranged to an edge tool holder 22 is integrally rotated along with the shaft 18. Since the power of the slotter shaft 18 is not transmitted to the control shaft 70 and the control shaft 70 is braked, the annular gear 52 meshed with the second gear 78 is also prescribed in its revolution. Therefore, the sleeve 60 inserted in each slot 58 is revolved along the slot 58 and the relative position of the corner cutting blade 36 arranged to a support 48 and the fluting blade 14 fixed to the edge tool holder 22 is changed.

The pretreating device 28 is equipped with two sets of cutters 45 and 46, which cut the edge parts at both the widthwise ends of the corrugated board sheet to the running direction of the sheet. The trimmed pieces 26b cut with the cutters 46 and 46 are so constituted as to be separated from the corrugated board sheet 14 and are removed by being sucked with a trim duct 58.
