    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet processing apparatus capable of eliminating a problem that, in a prior art, it is necessary to draw a tray from the apparatus and rotate a transportation passage unit on an upper portion of a stacker so as to be raised when drawing the tray from the stacker, thereby, there was lacking in convenience.SOLUTION: A paper money processing apparatus 1 comprises: a customer-service mechanism part 40 for delivering paper sheets; a counting part 10 for counting the number of the paper sheets; a stacker 20 for storing the paper sheets; transportation passages 10a-10e, 40a, and 40b for transporting the paper sheets to the customer-service mechanism part 40, the counting part 10 and the stacker 20. The paper money processing apparatus 1 further comprises: a connection guide 51 provided between the transportation passages 10a-10e and the stacker 20 for delivering the paper sheets; and a motor 62, a cam 59, and a solenoid S for switching a connection state, where the paper sheets can be delivered by connecting the connection guide 51 with the transportation passages 10a-10e and the stacker 20, and a retracted state where the connection guide 51 is disconnected.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed mechanism having good operability, capable of removing a paper sheet left across conveyance paths, without moving the sheet.
      SOLUTION: The feed mechanism includes a rotation fulcrum for opening and closing a conveyance path 1, which is identical to a rotation fulcrum for opening and closing a conveyance path 2. The conveyance path 2 includes a lock constituted of a spring, etc. which is closed by a resistance of a banknote. When mounting or demounting a loading and collection storage, the conveyance path 1 becomes an open state, and the conveyance path 2 also becomes the open state. In case a banknote is laid bridging across the conveyance path concerned and the neighboring conveyance path, when the conveyance path 1 is opened, the conveyance path 2 becomes closed due to the resistance of the banknote, thus becoming a third state, and accordingly, the banknote can be removed.
