摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that geographical coordinates should be directly inputted to a GIS when using graphics or positions on a map by the GIS, complicated button operation is required for the input and geographical information also should be directly inputted as electronic information in conventional methods. SOLUTION: An electronic map 1 is divided into two or more pages, respective pages are printed on sheets of electronic paper 2 in accordance with scales, the number 3 of the electronic paper 2, the number 4 of the electronic map 1, dot patterns 5 stored in the electronic paper 2, geographical coordinates 6 printed on the electronic paper 2, and the geographical coordinates on the electronic map 1 are made to match each other. Paper coordinates are read out from the electronic paper 2 on which the dot pattern 5 and the map coordinates are mapped and printed by using an electronic pen. Since a database for mapping the paper coordinates on the electronic paper 2 with the geographical coordinates of the electronic map 1 is used, the paper coordinates can be acquired as geographical coordinates.
