    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of easily adjusting a downward drainage rate of a liquid cyclone which separates materials mixed with two kinds of the materials by each of the materials.
      SOLUTION: The liquid cyclone is constituted by inserting a barrel-shaped inner cylinder 5 into an external cylinder 2 formed to a conical shape in its lower part and to a cylindrical shape in its upper part and discharges the specific gravity liquid flowing in from the upper part of the external cylinder from a lower opening 7 of the conical-shape section and the inner cylinder 5. The central axis of the lower opening 7 of the conical-shape section and the central axis of the inner cylinder 5 are offset, by which a lower drainage rate is changed. The inner cylinder and the lower opening are arranged in s positional relation where the mixture to be separated is higher in a separation rate, by which the desired the separation rate can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To always surely unlatch a shutter of housing box independently of the setting speed of the box by movably fitting an attraction magnet fixed on the device body side through a moving member to stick the magnet to the housing box. CONSTITUTION:The housing box having a shutter on an aperture part for carrying in/out paper sheets and set up attachably/detachably to/from the device body, the device body for holding the housing box and a shutter unlatching means consisting of the attraction magnet or a press lever fixed to the device body are provided. The magnet 84 is fixed to the body device side through a plate spring 85 and positioned so as to be contacted with the housing box 4 slightly faster than the fixed position of the box 4. A method for pulling the shutter 6 by a spring 72 is adopted in order to prevent plural hooks in the box 4 from being contacted with each other and a gap is formed between the hooks under the state. Consequently, the shutter hooks 77, 78 can be prevented from being contacted with the latch hooks 79, 80 and the shutter can be surely unlatched independently of the setting speed of the housing box.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent abnormal thrusting which causes scratch or folding to stacked bills by providing a wedge member and a mechanism for detecting a force which acts on the end of the wedge member on a dividing device for separating a defined number of bills by forming a gap in a group of stacked bills in a cachier machine. CONSTITUTION:A bill dividing device 17 advances straight onto the end face of stacked bills 15 by the thrust of an actuator at a thrusting speed V. Then, as a wedge member 18 collides against the end face of the stacked bills 15, it receives a reaction force F1'. At the time of normal thrusting, the wedge member receives a reaction force F1' lower than the initial tensile force of a compression spring 20 and the group of stacked sheets are separated and, after that, by inserting a separation handling device 172, the gap is enlarged to enable the insertion of a holding device 4. At the time of abnormal thrusting, the wedge member receives a reaction force F1' above the initial tensile fore of the compression spring 20 and slides with respect to a housing 171. A light shielding plate cut off the emission of light from the light generating side 19a of a light sensor 19, causing the light sensor 19 to be in an OFF condition to detect the abnormal thrusting.
