    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a resin composite molding body having sufficient adhesiveness and air tightness between different types of materials including a metal and a resin, inexpensively without complication of production processes.SOLUTION: Crater-like indents are formed in the surface of a metal member by irradiating the surface of the metal member with high-intensity energy, e.g., a laser beam or an electron beam, to cause melting and scattering of the surface of the metal. The crater-like indents produce a rough-surface form in which eaves-like protrusions formed by the melting and scattering of the surface of the metal, spherical metal splash produced at the tip of the protrusions and granular sputter produced in the processing are adhered under irradiating conditions including partially superimposed areas. The processing causes a resin-molded resin to intrude into narrowed interstices formed by the rough surface and produces an anchoring effect on volume changing of the resin in such a direction as for the resin to be peeled from the surface of the metal member.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable joining structure and joining method, wherein pressurization of a welding electrode is applied to the entire weld zone between joining members at the time of welding. SOLUTION: Pressurization is performed in a state where an end of one joining member to be butt-welded is provided with two or more slopes or R surfaces in an inclined or projected shape and where an end of the other joining member is butted on the two or more slopes or R surfaces in the projected shape, and a welding current is applied to generate heat to perform fusion welding. To be concrete, the butted faces of the projected part are first heated and fused by electric resistance of the joining members and contact resistance between the joining members, and then the entire joining faces are heated, so as to be softened or fused.
