    • PURPOSE:To manufacture a switch which can use selectively a synchronizing system and a period detecting system, by a simple parts constitution, by clearing a frequency dividing circuit by using a photodetecting pulse which has been generated by a prescribed timing. CONSTITUTION:A changeover switch 5 is turned on to a timing clock T2 side, a signal which has been generated by an oscillating circuit 1 is divided by a frequency-dividing circuit 2 and a timing clock is oscillated, and a switch of a synchronizing system is operated. Also, the switch 5 is turned on to a projecting use oscillating circuit 4 side and a projecting element 3 emits light by an oscillated output, and a period detecting system is operated. In a synchro nization detecting system, when a photodetector executes photodetection, a frequency dividing ratio of the circuit 2 is varied by an operation of a synchroni zation detecting circuit 11, the photodetecting timing is made to coincide with the projecting timing, and a photodetecting state is decided by an integration circuit 10. The switch of the respective systems is constituted of common parts except the circuits 4, 11.

    • PURPOSE:To confirm whether the optical axes of optical fibers are matched or not at a detection part by alternately projecting first and second flood pulses when the level of a photodetected pulse provided at a photodetection part exceeds a detective level. CONSTITUTION:When the optical axes of optical fibers are matched, the level of the photodetected pulse gets higher than the level to be detected by a comparator 23, and the comparator 23 outputs a pulse. This pulse output is inputted to a detection circuit 24, the pulse output of the comparator 23 at the time of outputting a pulse from an AND gate 16 is validized and when this valid pulse output is applied plural times such as continuously several times, for example, a detecting signal P1 is outputted. Since a pulse output b8 frequency- divided into eight stages is inputted from a frequency divider circuit 12 to one input terminal of an OR gate 42, the pulse output b8 is inputted to an input terminal (a) of a selector circuit 47, and the pulse output of the AND gate 16 with the narrow pulse duration and a pulse output b4 of the frequency divider circuit 12 with the wide pulse duration are alternately selected.

CONSTITUTION:A depletion field effect transistor(TR) 513 is adopted for a series control element for a constant voltage circuit 5, a collector of a TR 53 being a component of a differential amplifier circuit is connected to a source being an output of the FET 513 and a collector of a TR 54 is connected to a gate of the FET 513. At application of power, the FET 513 acts like a constant current element to suppress a charging current flowing to a capacitor 4. When the charging voltage of the capacitor 4 increases and a voltage at a voltage division point by resistors 57, 58 to which a base of the TR 54 is connected exceeds a Zener voltage of a Zener diode 52 to which a base of the TR 53 is connected, the TR 54 is turned on, a voltage is generated across a resistor 514, a gate voltage of the FET 513 is decreased, the current flowing to the FET 513 is decreased to make an output voltage of the constant voltage circuit 5 constant.

    • PURPOSE:To generate malfunction even if many switches are used simultaneously without connecting them electrically, by counting a prescribed number of continuous pulses, and thereafter, changing the generation time of the next projecting pulse. CONSTITUTION:Light of a projecting part 1, which has been emitted by an output of a pulse generating circuit 6 is made incident on a photodetecting part 2, measured by a counter circuit 9, and when the number of measurement becomes the first value which has been prescribed, the next pulse generation time is changed by a pulse controlling circuit 10, and when said number exceeds the second value which has been prescribed, a detecting signal is outputted. When the projecting part 1 and the photodetecting part 2 are cut off by a body to be detected, even if a transistor 23 photodetects a projecting pulse of the almost same period as a pulse generated by the circuit 6, from other light source, an output of an inverter 32 is inverted, a gate 34 clears a counter 35, and a switch executes no malfunction. Also, when the projecting part 1 and the photodetecting part 2 are not cut off, in case when synchronizing light has been incident from the outside, the synchronization is broken at this time, and the circuit 9 stops counting, therefore, the switch executes no malfunction.
