    • PURPOSE:To destroy a flying object in an aerial area in an unmanned operation by shooting, upon detection of the entry of the flying object into the specific aerial area, a bomb toward this area by a firing means. CONSTITUTION:On the periphery of a launching pad 1, which is circular in a plan view, there are provided four spigots 2 for warheads, each spigot provided with a warhead 3 and arranged circumferentially at equal intervals, and with a control device 4 for the warheads in the middle. For example, a shell with a fuse, whether by contact or time or otherwise, is in use for the warhead 3. The control device 4 for the warheads is housed in a cylindrical casing 5 which is closed at both ends, and has an opening 6 for transmission of microwaves in the middle at the top and has three microphones attached at equal intervals around the opening 6. On the basis of signals outputted and received by the microphones an approaching aircraft detection circuit 8 in the casing 5 detects the approach to and entry into an aerial area and thereupon supplies an invasion detection circuit 9 with electric power from a battery 10 for a specific time set in a timer. Then an oscillator is actuated to release the warheads.

    • PURPOSE:To make sure the movements of a land mine which keeps its end faces always in the direction of up-and-down by providing the upper and lower faces of the land mine which has a circular cross section and the thickness shorter than the diameter with an ultra sonic wave receiver which sends ultrasonic waves in the vertical direction and dropping the land mine from a moving body always with the upper and lower end faces lying in the up-and-down direction. CONSTITUTION:A scatterable mine has a shape of cylinder which has the height shorter than the diameter. Consequently, when it is dropped form a helicopter, etc. either end face of the upper and lower end faces upwards when it lands the earth. Those upper and lower end faces are provided with ultrasonic wave transmitting and receiving devices 11 and 21 respectively, and the ultrasonic waves are sent perpendicularly to the end face and outwards. The echo of an ultrasonic wave that is sent is limited in a certain range and this range is the range of detection. For instance since the transmitting and receiving device 21 on the lower side is in contact with the ground surface, the echo is made ineffective and the transmitting and echo of receiving device 11 on the upper side becomes ineffective when the distance to an object which is supposed to be subject to the mine explosion is over the range of detection. As a result, only when an object to be hit by mine comes in the range of detection the explosive is actuated and the destruction of the object becomes certain.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain a stationary mine wherein a false operation due to a reflected wave of an acoustic wave hardly occurs, by equipping a detecting means with a directional piezoelectric type acoustic wave receiver which has piezoelectric rubber disposed horizontally and has high sensitivity to the vertical direction. CONSTITUTION: A stationary mine is equipped with a casing 1, an ignition device 2, an arming device 3, a bursting charge 4 and a battery 5 and with a directional piezoelectric type acoustic wave receiver 6 which is provided on the upper side of the casing 1 and which is made of piezoelectric rubber and has high sensitivity to the vertical direction. When an object of explosion comes near to the stationary mine, an operation signal is outputted from a signal processing circuit 13 of a magnetic sensor 12 and a contact 14a of a relay 14 turns ON. When the object of explosion comes to a position right above the stationary mine, an operation signal is outputted from a signal processing circuit 10 of the acoustic wave receiver 6 and a contact 11a of a relay 11 turns ON. When both of the contacts 11a and 14a turn ON, the voltage of the battery 5 is impressed on an igniter of a detonator 15 through the contacts 11a, 14a and 19a, and the detonator 15, a booster 16 and the bursting charge 4 burst up, whereby the object of explosion is exploded.
