摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a monocrystal ferrite having high saturation magnetic flux density and high frequency mum by adding a fixed quantity of SnO2 to a composite whose contentment is located in a proportional region surrounded by lines connecting four points A-D having the fixed mol% of a composite (MnO, ZnO, Fe2O3) for subjecting to heat treatment in a reducing atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:0.1-5wt.% SnO2 is added to a composite, whose main composite (MnO, ZnO, FeO3) is located inside a quadriangle formed by lines connecting points A(21, 19, 60), B(21, 15, 64), C(24, 5, 11, 5, 64), D(24, 5, 15, 5, 60) in the mol% for being solid-soluted and treated in a reducing atmosphere less than 0.5% O2 at 400-1000 deg.C in order to obtain monocrystal ferrite having magnetic permeability not less than 250 at 8MHz. This material is especially suitable for magnetic heads of a high picture quality VTR using a highly hydrocarbonized tape.

摘要： PURPOSE:To contrive accomplishment of both improvement in output on the high frequency zone of a head and the reduction in sliding noise by a method wherein, in the limited composition of the quantity of MnO less than 21mol%, a limited compositional range having high saturating magnetic flux density, a high (mu) at high frequency and also having low degree of sliding noise of a tape, is applied in the manufacture of the title magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:The Mz-Zn single crystal ferrite base material, having the composition (MnO, ZnO and Fe2O3) is formed by adding 0.1-5wt.% of SnO2 to the above-mentioned composition and brought within the range surrounded by the AB, BC, CD, DE and EA which is formed by connecting with a straight line between each point of A(20, 25, 55), B(16, 25, 59), C(16, 22, 5, 61, 5), D(20, 5, 18, 61,5) and E(20, 5, 24, 5, 55) in mol%. This material has the initial permeability (mu0) of 250 or above in 8MHz, and also it has the characteristic of the saturated magnetic flux density B10 in 100e of 4800G or above. As said material has high degree of saturated magnetic flux density ahd the (mu) in high frequency wave, and also its magnetic head characteristics can be improved sharply, it is useful especially as the head of the high quality picture VTR and the like using the tape which is brought into the state of high Hc.
