    • PURPOSE:To stably record information and to improve the durability of a magnetic disk by providing a specific groove part on the magnetic disk. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic core 7 of one magnetic head 2 or 3 is made to face a groove 11 of the other magnetic heads 3 or 2, and the magnetic core is brought into contact with a magnetic disk 1 by means of suitable press- contacting force by using the flexibility of the magnetic disk 1. Further on each second foot parts 12 of the first or second magnetic head 2 or 3 arranged on external or internal peripheral side of the magnetic disk 1, a negative pressure generating groove 13, which is made deeper from the upstream side in the rotation direction of the magnetic disk 1 toward the downstream side, is formed, when the disk 1 is rotated at high speed, the negative pressure is generated by the fluid force between the negative pressure generating groove 13 and the disk 1, and force to attract the disk 1 is operated. Consequently the vibration of the disk 1 generated by the high-speed rotation is absorbed, the magnetic heads 2 and 3 come in contact with the disk 1 at constant surface pressure, stable recording/reproducing is attained, and further the durability of the disk 1 is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To bring a magnetic gap into contact with a disc efficiently to obtain high adhesiveness by curving the sliding surfaces of the 1st leg parts of a pair of magnetic heads so as to be projected slightly higher than the slinding surfaces of the 2nd leg parts. CONSTITUTION:A recording/reproducing core 3 and an erasing core 4 are embedded in the disc sliding surface 6a of the 1st led part 6 of a core holding part 2 of one magnetic head 1 and the shape of the sliding surface is curved so as to be projected slightly higher than the sliding surface 7a of the 2nd leg part 7. The other magnetic head 10 is similarly constituted. A floppy disc 9 is held between the magnetic heads 1, 10 to execute recording/reproducing. When the adhering pressure of both the heads 1, 10 are increased under said status, efficient contact state is obtained without the generation of a specific trouble for the contact and high adhesiveness can be attained between a gap 3a and the floppy disc 9.

    • PURPOSE:To assure an excellent magnetic characteristic by positioning the sliding surface of a substrate which supports a thin ferromagnetic metallic film toward the (1, 1, 0) face from the single crystal manganese-zinc ferrite face and toward the (2, 1, 1) face from the (1, 1, 1) face respectively within specific angles of inclination. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head is manufactured by using respectively single crystal manganese-zinc ferrite as the core substrate and an amorphous alloy of cobalt-niobium-zirconium as the thin ferromagnetic metallic film. The magnetic head is brought into contact with a magnetic disk while the disk is kept rotated to maintain the continuous sliding contact between the head and disk. As a result, the head is so formed that the sliding surface of the core substrate is positioned within the range of 0-30 angle of inclination from the (1, 1, 1) face toward the (1, 1, 0) face and within the range of 0-30 angle of inclination from the (1, 1, 1) face toward (2, 1, 1) face, then the core substrate and the thin ferromagnetic metallic film wear approximately at the similar rate and therefore the difference of steps between both is extremely small.

In addition, the 1st leg part 7 is opposed to the center of the 2nd leg part 8, so that the contact surfaces are not hurt and the efficient contact state can be kept even if the disc 1 is warped.
