摘要： PURPOSE:To avoid the necessity of portable type line test equipments, by providing specific incoming enable terminals, specific oscillation subscriber terminals and specific incoming outgoing terminal operation sections with an unattened exchange station. CONSTITUTION:Various tests are made from attened exchange station 21 and maintenance personnel is dispatched to an unattended exchange station 27 when any failure is found. In the unattended station 27, the specific incoming/outgoing terminal operation section 31, subscriber terminals 38, and failed subscriber line are connected, and the section 31 and a hardset 36 are connected to set the attended exchange station 21 and the communication line. Various tests are made in the attended station 21, by connecting the test outgoing trunk 23, relay lines between stations 26, test incoming trunk 28, network 30, specific incoming subscriber terminal 35, OUT switch 33 in the specific section 31, subscriber terminals 38, subscriber line 39 and subscriber telephone 40 from the test stand 22. Thus, without carrying a portable type lie tester, tests can be made.

CONSTITUTION:In controlling a channel device SP from a central controller CC0 via a channel controller SPC0, control is done so as not to activate an output transistor (TR) of a signal distributor SD from the CC0, and contacts tr0, 1 switching relays TR0,1 are selected as shown in Figure. If a switching unit TRU0 is failed to be disconnected, the output TR of the SD is activated from a CC1 and the SP is controlled in the path of CC1 SPC1 tr1 SP and the TRU0 is exchanged, then no system-down takes place. If the TRUi is failed, the exchange of the TRU1 is done without causing system-down similarly.

After this, the relays for current supply and the subscriber supervisory inside circuit 8 are cut off, and the supervisory relay is turned on again after transmission of the charging pulse to cancel the interruption state. As a result, the installation of circuit 8 for each trunk can be omitted via the general or local trunk plus the interruption system.

Thus, the continuity test of the cable 5 can easily be done between the input terminals 2 and output terminals 2'.
