    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To invert a magnetic field at high speed and with high frequency waves by making a driving current for obtaining a required bias magnetic field flow through a magnetic head being at a position corresponding to the irradiation position of a laser beam while changing over it to make the driving current and a heating quatity smaller. SOLUTION: A magneto-optical recording magnetic head 20 is connected to a changeover circuit in order to operate it. At the time of an overwrite operation, a track 20b being in the magnetic head 20 which is at the same position as that of a laser spot 6 is specified with a position specifying circuit 34 and the changeover switch SW is operated and also a laser is operated with the light quantity at the time of recording. Consequently, a current for generating a bias magnetic field having a proper intensity corresponding to a recording signal 35 is made to flow through the magnetic heads 20 and the recording signal 35 is recorded on a magneto-optical disk 11. Thus, a high speed overwrite is made possible by making the required driving current flow through the magnetic head being at the position corresponding to the irradiation position of the laser beam while changing over it in this manner.

    • PURPOSE:To lessen the danger of head damage at the time of handling, such as assembling and transporting, by covering part of a cylinder with a cover. CONSTITUTION:This head cylinder includes an upper drum 1, a lower drum 2, a magnetic tape guide line 3, a magnetic head 4, the cover 5 fixed to this lower drum 2, a magnetic tape 6, a pass port 7 for this magnetic tape 6, inclined pins 8, 8' and a shaft 9. The magnetic head 4 is mounted at the upper drum 1 and rotates together with the upper drum 1 around the shaft 9. The magnetic tape 6 is made to travel at an adequate angle with the cylinder by a tape guide line 3 disposed on the lower drum 2 and inclined pins 8, 8'. The upper and lower drums 1, 2 are provided with the cover 5 having the tape passage port 7 having the width larger than the width of the magnetic tape 6 and, therefore, the tape 6 is pressed to the cylinder without hindrance by the cover 5. In addition, the danger of the damage of the magnetic head 4 at the time of handling is lessened.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain satisfactory tape touch in each magnetic head and to reduce crosstalk between the magnetic heads by providing a screen shape partition arranged between adjacent magnetic heads, and arranging each magnetic head in a housing room between the partitions by parting spatially. CONSTITUTION:A large number of magnetic heads 1 are mounted on a rotary cylinder 3, and the partition 5 is provided at the boundary of each magnetic head 1, and the partition 5 is comprised of a radiant blade part 51 and a connecting part 52 which connects them integrally. Since each head 1 is housed in an almost sealed housing room except for a tape confronting side, no air blowoff function occurs, and a negative pressurizing state is preferably set, and a tape is attracted to surely keep contact with the head. Such state can be decided with only the shape of the partition 5 i.e. the shape of the housing room 7 not depending on the number, the shape, and the arranging gap, etc., of heads. In such a way, the tape touch of each head can be maintained satisfactorily, and the crosstalk between the heads can be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the title head with little induced noise which is suitable for the high-density recording of a VTR, etc., in a mounted state by crossing a wiring pattern on a terminal board at least once. CONSTITUTION:A wiring pattern 8 crosses at least once on a terminal board 5 and the sum of the effective areas of an oblique line part 7 surrounded by the wiring pattern 8 and a coil 3 incorporating a magnetic core 2 to the induced noise by an extraneous wave is nearly equal to the effective area of the other oblique line part 9 to the induced noise by the extraneous wave. The polarity of the induced noise by the extraneous wave generated in the oblique line part 7 surrounded by the coil 3 incorporating the magnetic core 2 on a thin-film magnetic head chip and the oblique line part 7 surrounded by the wiring pattern 8 is reverse to that of the induced noise generated in the other oblique line part 9 surrounded by the wiring pattern 8. Consequently, they cancel each other and the interference of the extraneous wave can be completely canceled. Thus, the one with little induced noise which is suitable for the high-density magnetic recording of the VTR, etc., in the mounted state can be obtained.
