    • PURPOSE:To reduce the size and weight of a device by providing a band extracting circuit which extracts a necessary band component from an acoustic sensor output signal, a low-frequency component extracting circuit which extracts an envelope signal from the output of the circuit, etc. CONSTITUTION:Acoustic sensors 1 are fitted to many rotary machines of the same type, and the values of A/D conversion 9 of their outputs are measured, their mean value (monitor value) is stored in a storage part 12. Then the signal from the sensor 1 fitted to an object machine to be measured is amplified 2 and a BPF 3 extracts a signal in a frequency band where the influence of noises, etc., is a little. Then the envelope signal of the signal is extracted by an RMS circuit 4. This envelope signal contains a frequency component based upon periodic and impulsive force generated owing to the presence of the waving of the track surface of a bearing, etc. here, the envelope signal is passed through a BPS 5, then averaged by an RMS circuit 8, and A/D converted 9 before being inputted to a microcomputer 10. The microcomputer 10 stores data (measured value) from the converter 9 in the storage part 12, also takes a diagnosis based upon the monitor value and measured value, and displays the diagnostic result on a display part 11.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a method for investigating and visualizing a sound source inside a flow field, by using the results of measurement of changes in the vorticity and the velocity of the flow field, regarding a method for investigation of a turbulent flow noise source. CONSTITUTION:The title apparatus is constructed of a vorticity sensor 3 for detecting a change in vorticity and a change in velocity in a flow field, a traverse device 2 for moving the sensor, a velocity change detecting device 4 provided at a fixed position in the flow field, a condition extracting device 5 for detecting the condition of the flow field, a phase average processing device 6 which computes a phase space average value of the flow field from data obtained from the vorticity sensor, and a sound source computing device which detects a turbulent flow noise source from the space distribution of the changes in the vorticity and the velocity. It is possible to investigate the source of generation of turbulent flow noise from the measured vorticity of the flow field and to visualize a sound source.

    • PURPOSE:To remarkably improve aerodynamic performance and reduce noise by forming a blade form from the inner circumferential end of the blade to the center part into a curved face so that the entrance angle in the axial direction of the inner circumferential edge and the front edge of the blade of the center part are formed in a prescribed range. CONSTITUTION:When entrance angles in the axial direction of the front edge of a blade 5 at the inner circumferential end 5b and the center part 5c are respectively instituted gammai, gammac, the blade form at least from the inner circumferential end 5b to the center part 5c is formed into a curved face so that both the gammai, gammac are smaller than 90 degree and gammai>gammac. Hereby, at least on the inner circumferential side, the entrance angle in the axial direction at the front edge of the blade 5 is decided so that the air flow coincides with the composite vector of the speed vector along an annular flow passage and the speed vector crossing the direction of the rotor axis in the annular flow passage, further the entrance angle in the circumferential direction is decided, and the blade form is three-dimensionally molded. Therefore, generation of turbulence of inner flow such as air vortex flowing in the inner circumferential side and stagnation is remarkably reduced, and aerodynamic performance is drastically improved compared with conventional one.
