    • PURPOSE:To provide a small-sized, light weight and cost reduced protection device and prevent some cyclic parts from being damaged by a method wherein a fuse metal for shielding an inner part of cycle against a surrounding air and sealingly closing the inner part of cycle is disposed inside a pressure switch or a part of a body. CONSTITUTION:Refrigerant in a cycle is sealingly closed by a diaphragm 4 within a pressure switch, a fuse metal 5 adhered and fixed to the diaphragm and a packing 103. The fuse metal 5 is melted in the event that a refrigerant temperature reaches an abnormal high temperature of more than 100 deg.C. The refrigerant passes through a hole 401 of the diaphragm and a hole 601 if a reversing plate. The refrigerant leaks into the pressure switch and further leaks out into the surrounding air from a hole 11a of an adjusting screw. A high pressure of a cycle is prevented and a damage of an air conditioner cyclic parts is prevented. As the pressure in the cycle is abnormally increased during an operation of an air conditioner, the reversing plate 6 is reversed with the refrigerant pressure to push up an operating rod 12 and further to push a switch lever 705. High pressure terminals 703 and 704 are moved away from each other, the air conditioner is stopped and then the damage of the component parts is prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To keep off any damage to a compressor due to nonconformity in a refrigerating cycle by installing a pressure switch, detecting refrigerant pressure in the compressor, in conjunction with an electromagnetic sensor part which generates a pulse signal in a detected element with rotation of a drive circuit of the compressor and detects its rotational frequency. CONSTITUTION:A detector 1 of a protector for a compressor is provided with a movable rotation detector 2 held by an elastic bellows 3. This rotation detector 2 has a permanent magnet 201, a rotation detecting coil 203 and an iron core 204, and a movable pin 4 is set up in the center. A reversing plate 6 at the bellows side and a low pressure detecting spring 5 at the opposite side press a movable piece 502. The detector 1 is adjacently attached to a high pressure chamber of the compressor, detecting a detected element of a compressor shaft and generating a pulse. On the other hand, a switch of an electromagnetic clutch comes to OFF by pushing force at time of nonpressure in the high pressure chamber and to ON by pushing force of the bellows 3 at time of normal pressure respectively. At time of abnormally high pressure, the reversing plate 6 pushes the pin 4 upward and the switch is turned off. Thus, the compressor is protected from this abnormally high pressure in a refrigerating cycle and a gas non-sealing state.

    • PURPOSE:To aim at improvement of the accuracy of detecting the rotational frequency of a compressor through increasing the detection voltage by reducing a very small clearance between the inner periphery surface of a rotating disc and the outer periphery surface of a hub so as to increase the by-pass magnetic flux in an auxiliary closed magnetic circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a compressor 1 is in rotary action, an exciting coil 5b is electrified, and a main closed magnetic circuit A is generated to cause an output disc 8c to be attracted to an input rotor 7. In addition, some of the magnetic flux in the exciting coil 5b bypass the main closed magnetic circuit A so as to form an auxiliary closed magnetic circuit B. In this condition, when a magnetic piece 12b in a magnetic flux changing means 12 passes through the neighborhood of the magnetic pole 11, a clearance between the magnetic pole 11 and the magnetic flux changing means 12 is reduced to cause the by-pass magnetic flux to be increased. Since the pulsative change in a flux output in the auxiliary closed magnetic circuit B is detected by a magnetic detecting coil 14, if the by-pass magnetic flux is increased, the induced pulse voltage generated in the magnetic detecting coil 14 is also increased.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate a gas lock phenomenon appearing at the time of a sudden change in coolant flowrate by providing a continuity tube for keeping direct continuity between the upstream and downstream sides of a disicant in the constitution wherein the disicant is supported with plate like upper and lower brackets having a strainer function at the center of a receiver. CONSTITUTION:In a refrigeration cycle receiver 1, a coolant enters the inlet 2 of a body 8, and is reserved on the bottom section of a shell 9 via a strainer 4 and a desicant 5. The coolant reserved on the aforesaid bottom section flows from a suction pipe 6 to an expansion valve via the outlet 3 of the body 8. In this case, a continuity tube 10 is provided to keep continuity between the upper and lower sides of the strainer 4. According to the aforesaid construction, the coolant from the inlet 2 cannot instantaneously pass, due to the resistance body of the strainer 4 and desicant 5, when there is a sudden fluctuation in coolant flowrate, thereby preventing the occurrence of a gas lock phenomenon where the coolant stagnates above the strainer 4 and hardly flows down.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the machining ability of the shaft engaging hole of a hub so as to improve the productivity of an electromagnetic clutch by using a part of a plate spring which forms an output rotor as a stopper for fixing the output rotor in its axial direction. CONSTITUTION:In an electromagnetic clutch, when an electric current flows into an exciter 12, magnetic flux is generated along a main magnetic circuit which is stated by a broken line. And a movable piece 8 is adsorbed into an input rotor 2, and torque exerted upon the input rotor 2 is transmitted to a hub 9, a key 21 and a shaft 20 in order through a plate spring 10 so as to rotate a compressor 1. Then when the electric current is checked, the magnetic flux disappears and the movable piece 8 is retreated toward the opposite side of the input rotor due to the spring force of the plate spring 10, so that a power transmission to the shaft 20 is interrupted. In this case, since the disc portion 10a of the plate spring 10 is used as a stopper 10f for fixing an output rotor 7 in its axial direction, a special part such as a washer or the like which is used as a stopper does not become necessary. As a result, the part cost and the installation cost of the electromagnetic clutch concerned can be reduced.
