    • PURPOSE:To improve operability by detecting the temperature at a drying chamber outlet, the temperature difference from the outside temperature, and the humidity at the drying chamber outlet for operation control, and continuously displaying the estimated remaining time for drying from three minutes after the start of an operation. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensor 20 made of a thermistor and a humidity sensor 22 are fitted at the position faced to the heat outlet 8 of a fan casing 11 in a circulation duct to detect the state change of the dry air. A temperature sensor 21 made of a thermistor is fitted at the cooling air inlet 2 of a back cover 2 to detect the outside air temperature. The drum outlet temperature and the cooling air inlet temperature in a preheating/drying segment I are detected by the temperature sensors made of the thermistor and calculated by a microcomputer, and the progress state is displayed as the remaining time. Conventional products of the current sensor and humidity sensor used for correction have actual achievements, and there is no fear of noises and erroneous actions.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the effect of an error at the portion to judge the output voltage values from voltage conversion sections for each detection point by providing multiple voltage conversion sections for one current detection section, and changing the output voltage values of the voltage conversion sections for the same heater excitation current value. CONSTITUTION:A current detection section 18 detects the current value of a heater and outputs it as the AC voltage. This AC voltage is converted into the DC voltage by voltage conversion sections 19a, 19b and outputted to a microcomputer 6. The microcomputer 6 detects the abnormality of a control circuit or the clogging of a lint filter provided to collect the lint generated from the clothing in response to the output voltage of the voltage conversion sections 19a, 19b according to the preset program. The value of the primary current (i) when the output voltage A exceeds the voltage VDD of the control circuit is made small, and the detection current range is made narrow. If the secondary side load resistor 18b is made small, the detection current range is made wide, however detection is impossible at the point with the small primary current (i).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress influence of output voltage difference and to improve input control accuracy, by setting the absolute value of output voltage of a current transformer in a current detecting part smaller and amplifying the output voltage after the current transformer voltage comes to over a prescribed valuer in a differential amplifying circuit after rectifying and smoothing. SOLUTION: A current transformer(CT) is used in a current detecting part 23 of a current detecting circuit 22, a diode is connected to a rectifying means 24, and an electrolysis capacitor is used in a smoothing circuit. An operation amplifier is used in an amplifying means 26 to form a differential amplifying circuit. Further a load resistance to set output voltage when certain current flows in the primary side of the CT is connected. The value of the load resistance 31 is made smaller and is shifted by the amplifying means 26 to a required position in the whole input to amplify up to a required value. Thus output voltage difference can be made smaller to reduce the influence thereof.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a desired drying-state, by a method wherein a humidity of hot air exhausted from a rotary drum is detected, and on the basis of a signal of its humidity, a speed of a motor for an electric type timer switch is varied, and the switch controls the time when sir is heated and circulated. CONSTITUTION:In a humidity-deciding circuit 305d in a motor control circuit 305, when the impedance of a humidity sensor 18 is larger than a specified value, it is decided that humidity is low, and when smaller, the humidity is high. According to this, a speed of the revolution of a cam-driving motor 303c for an electric type timer switch 303 is varied through a two way thyristor 305a with three terminals from a thyristor-driving circuit 305f. That is to say, when the drying of clothing is going on and the impedance of the humidity sensor 18 is larger than the specified value, it is decided that hot air is turned into the air with low humidity. After that, the cam-driving motor 303c is operated at a relatively high speed, and a heater circuit contact 303b is early opened, and in a definite time, a main circuit contact 303a is opened. In this way, the optimum drying-state desired can be obtained.
