    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling stock body of low noise level which is easily manufactured.
      SOLUTION: The rolling stock comprises a subframe 40 disposed below a floor of the rolling stock body with a clearance therebetween, and a bogie 30 disposed below the subframe 40 with a clearance therebetween, wherein the rolling stock body 10 and subframe 40 are connected via a first center pin 60 protruding downward from the rolling stock body 10 or a first center pin 60 protruding into the rolling stock body thereabove from the subframe 40. The subframe 40 and the bogie 30 are connected via a second center pin 70 protruding downward from the subframe 40. A two-step bumper 61 is disposed between the first center pin 60 and the connected counter member, and the two-step bumper 61 is disposed on both sides of center pin 60 in the width direction of the rolling stock body 10. The rolling stock body 10 swings in the width direction when the bogie passes a point. After passing the point, the rolling stock body returns to its original position by the force of the two-step bumper 61.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axle box supporting device for a railroad vehicle, making compatible riding comfort in a vertical direction and riding comfort in a roll direction, by securing roll support rigidity without setting vertical rigidity of an axle spring to be high, in an inboard type truck reduced in size and weight by narrowing a right and left space of the axle spring. SOLUTION: Axle beams 2 and 2' constituting the axle box of the inboard type truck generate rotation displacement at an axle center by vertical displacement of the right and left axle springs 5 and 5'. The roll support rigidity is improved by providing an inter-axle box twisting member 7 for transmitting twisting load to the axle beams 2 and 2' between the right and left axle beams 2 and 2'. When twisting displacement is going to be generated due to different vertical displacement of the axle springs 5 and 5', the inter-axle box twisting member 7 generates reaction in relation to the twisting displacement, works in a direction to cancel the twisting displacement between truck frames 4 from the axle beams 2 and 2', and suppresses the rotation displacement of the axle box. Both the riding comfort in the vertical direction by the soft axle springs 5 and 5' and the riding comfort in the roll direction by the improved roll support rigidity are improved.       SOLUTION: The railway vehicle has a structure having the vehicle body 3 supported on a truck 4 by an air spring 2 or a vibration-proof rubber; and a left/right movement stopper rubber 8 arranged between the vehicle body and the truck, arranged so as to have a space between a central pin 9 projected to a lower part of the vehicle body and the truck and suppressing left/right movement. A left/right clearance of the central pin 9 and the left/right movement stopper rubber 8 is made variable and spring constant in a left/right direction of the air spring or the vibration-proof rubber is softened. Further, the left/right clearance of the central pin and the left/right movement stopper rubber is made variable according to the track state or speed information. Thereby, transmission of vibration from the truck to the vehicle body at linear traveling can be suppressed and vehicle gauge at curved line traveling and construction gauge are not further committed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for a pendulum device for a railroad vehicle capable of suppressing the possibility of generating fretting wear on the contact line of a roller and a roller bearing caused by neutrally maintaining the vehicle body when pendular movement is not performed.
      SOLUTION: When the targeted angle of inclination of the vehicle body is 0°(Step 1), it is verified that traveling time to the curve of a track for pendular control is sufficient, or a criteria value or more (Step 2). After the verification, a pendular beam control angle θ(t) is set (Step 3). This enables pendular movement to be performed during travelling on a straight line in addition to during passing a curve at high speed, thereby always changing the contact position between the roller and the roller bearing. Therefore, this prevents the fretting wear caused by a continuous contact between the roller and the roller bearing in the same position to increase the life of the roller bearing, while this prevents vibration in getting over the damage portion of the roller to improve riding comfort. Further, the vehicle body is neutrally maintained by compensating the pendulum angle of the pendular beam with the pendulum angle of a bolster spring (Step 4).

By this constitution, even while a railway vehicle is running in the snow, snow falls down, becoming hard to lay on the top of the axle beam arm 4, and in the case where snow falls and freezes during the stop of the railway vehicle, while the vehicle is running, the axle beam arm 4 like a blade cuts and removes the frozen snow due to the vertical motion of the axle box. Therefore, this constitution avoid the axle box suspension device from being prevented from moving between the truck frame and axle box.
