SOLUTION: In the maximum thickness position 16, a radius of curvature of a back side blade face 19 to a position of 50% of a chord length 15, is 0.6 times of a radius of curvature of a back side blade face 1A from a position of 20% of the chord length to a rear edge 12. The inflow air current 1 is temporarily decelerated by a front edge 11, then is accelerated on the back side blade face 19 between the front edge 11 of small radius of curvature and 20% of the chord length 15, and reaches 1.2 equal to the inflow Mach number near the front edge. Then the inflow air current exists in an area 1A of large radius of curvature of the back side blade face, so that the acceleration degree is reduced, the maximum Mach number is regulated to be 1.3 or below, and the total pressure loss caused by the shock wave can be reduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand the operating range of a wing by suppressing the separation of air when an angle of attack is changed. SOLUTION: The trailing edge 3 of a wing 1 has cutouts or projections 9 for reducing the separation of air from a wing surface, which generate longitudinal vortexes 8 having axis in the direction of flow in the downstream of the wing 1. The introduction of longitudinal vortexes 8 flows the main stream in a separation region 6 to delay the expansion of the separation region 6. The longitudinal vortexes 8 diffuse vortexes 7 produced by the secondary stream to prevent the separation from a pressure surface 4 and a negative pressure surface 5 and the separation caused by the secondary flow to expand the operating range of the wing 1. The shape of the cutout or the projection may be trapezoidal, angular, or rectangular, and may be trapezoidal at the end of the wing and rectangular at the center of the wing.

    • PURPOSE:To provide the magnetic head having recording and reproducing characteristics suitable for high-density recording and excellent mass productivity. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic core half bodies 12, 12' deposited with ferromagnetic metallic films 11 on the slope of a core base body part 10 are joined and integrated via a gap material 13 in such a manner that these ferromagnetic metallic films are formed flush with each other. At least the parts down to the gap depth of the parts exclusive of the ferromagnetic metallic films on a tape-sliding surface 15 are constituted of a nonmagnetic packing material 16. The thickness of the ferromagnetic metallic film 11' in the part adjacent to the above- mentioned nonmagnetic packing material 16 of the tape-sliding surface is set smaller than the thickness of the ferromagnetic metallic film 11 deposited on the core base body part. Since ferrite is not exposed on the sliding surface, noises are small and since the cross section of the rear part magnetic circuit is large, recording and reproducing efficiency is high. Since post tracking width working is executed after the joined block is formed, the accuracy of the track width is high.
