摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect properties of a material, by supplying two kinds of microwaves of high and low frequencies of modulation vibrations to a resonator, and evaluating detuning of the resonator caused by the presence of the material. SOLUTION: A microwave generator 3 supplies to a resonator 1 output signals of high and low frequencies f2, f1 of modulation vibrations (s) periodically switched by a frequency control device 24. An output signal from the resonator 1 influenced by a tobacco rod passing though the resonator 1, namely, resonant signals corresponding to high and low modulation values f2, f1 are converted into one d.c. voltage signal by a microwave diode 22 and supplied to a sampling apparatus 51. A synchronous apparatus 52 controls so that a voltage value of the resonator 1 is sampled at a time point when microwaves of the high and low frequency f2, f1 are supplied from the microwave generator 3 to the resonator 1, and obtains values Uf2 , Uf1 . An adder 56 generates a value 1/2(Uf2 +Uf1 )=Ug and a subtractor 57 generates a difference Uf2 -Uf1 =Ua from the output values. An evaluation apparatus 11 calculates values of a density, a mass, a humidity of the tobacco on the basis of the values.

Thereby, the mixing of added components with the product flow in the inside of the distributor (10) is selectively secured before the sieving or during the sieving, and a uniform and individual product flow is generated, and the decomposition and double sieving are blocked.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make improvable the measuring accuracy and measuring sensitivity by forming at least a part of a resonator housing out of a material having a small thermal expansion coefficient. SOLUTION: An inside space 7 of a hollow cylindrical body 6 of a resonator housing 4 is arranged symmetrically to a cigarette continuous body 1, and a cover 8 is fastened to the hollow cylindrical body 6 with a screw. The hollow cylindrical body 6 and the cover 8 are formed of a material having a small thermal expansion coefficient, for example, an alloy of about 64% of iron and about 36% of nickel. A temperature of the resonator housing 4 is detected by a temperature detector 9, and a heating transistor 11 is controlled to control the temperature constant. Thus, a geometrical shape of the resonator housing 4 becomes constant, and excellent constancy is obtained as a measuring result. The formation of a corrosive material is reliably checked by evaporating a thin gold layer 12 in an inside space 7 to check a harmful skin effect.
