    • PURPOSE:To prevent deformation or fusion of a foaming layer even in the case the electric wire concerned is embodied as a coaxial multi-flat cable, by forming the foaming layer from a certain amount of ethylene series copolymer and polypropylene, and specifying the degree of foaming over 70%. CONSTITUTION:A resin compound is prepared by adding a foaming agent to a resin admixture consisting of 80-97 parts by wt. ethylene series coplymer and 3-20 parts by wt. polypropylene, and a conductor is covered with this resin compound and a polypropylene not containing foaming agent, which is conducted simultaneously. The resin compound is left foaming at a degree of foaming over 70%. A solid layer is formed from polypropylene, and conductor having a certain dia. is simultaneously covered with resin compound for the foaming layer and polypropylene for solid layer by the use of an extruding machine which is fitted with a common head. Accordingly the degree of foaming is held over 70% even in the case the dia. is as thin as 1mm or less, so that the requirements about the signal transfer delay time imposed on a coaxial multi-flat cable can well be met, and destruction of the foaming layer can be prevented even in the case the electric wire is embodied as a coaxial multi-flat cable.

    • PURPOSE:To deepen a channel depth in a feed portion without reducing the torsional strength of the feed portion and stabilize the introduction of an extrusion material by making the width of a flight in the feed portion wider. CONSTITUTION:The width W of a flight 3 in the compression portion C of a screw is arranged wider than that in the metering portion M thereof, and the width of the flight in the feed portion F wider than that in the compression portion C. In this case, the flight 3 is shaped into a spiral form and, therefore, when the width W of the flight 3 is widened provided that the depth G of a screw channel 2 is specified, the cross-sectional area of the screw is increased by that much to make the torsional strength of the screw greater. Accordingly, if the width of the flight 3 in the feed portion F is made wider, it becomes possible that the channel depth in the feed portion F is made deeper without reducing the torsional strength of the feed portion F, thus improving the introduction of an extrusion material and stabilizing an extruder output.

    • PURPOSE:To enable an end-treatment with ease with a drain-wire not falling out when a sheath is removed, by furnishing a metallic layer on the side in contact with a shielding layer, and a hot-melt resin on the side of an insulated wire, out of drain-wires, melting the resin by heat produced when the sheath is formed, and welding it to the insulated wire. CONSTITUTION:An insulating material such as a high foaming polyethylene, or high foaming polypropylene and the like is used for the insulated layer 13 of an insulated wire 1. For these insulating materials are liable to be slippery against a drain wire 2, the surface of the drain-wire 2 in contact with the insulating wire 1 is provided in advance with such a hot-melt resin 8 as an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, an ethylene ethyl acrylate, or Bond-fast, or the like, and the hot-melt resin 8 which is heated and melted by heat at the time of forming the sheath 4 is fused on the insulating wire 1. Consequently, the drain- wire 2 does not fall out at the time of removal of the sheath, and treatment and processing may be carried out with ease.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to carry out a fused cutting, a solder bath soaking, and a hot blast treatment in a good condition, and to improve the terminal processing adaptability, by composing an insulating layer out of a foamy fluorine resin, and specifying a sheath. CONSTITUTION:A coaxial core 10 is composed of a conductor 12, and an insulating layer 14, a shield layer 16, and a sheath 18 formed on the conductor 12 in order, and the conductor 12 is coated with tin, silver, nickel, or the like to improve the soldering process property. In this case, the diameter and the number of the conductor may be selected as desired. On the other hand, the shield layer 16 may be formed either by winding a shield tape lateral or longitudinal over the insulating layer 14, or by winding plural conductors laterally. The insulating layer 14 consists of a foamy fluorine resin, while the sheath 18 consists of a nonbridged polyvinylchloride of the Shore hardness D, 50 to 75. In such a composition, a fused cutting, a solder bath soaking, and a hot blast treatment of the insulating layer and the sheath in the terminal processing of the coaxial core can be carried out in a good condition, and the terminal precessing adaptability can be improved.
