The processors (21 and 10) detect each axial component of the triaxial directions of gravitational acceleration from detection value of the sensor 20, determine a ratio of the magnitude of the gravitational acceleration to an axial component in any axial direction of the triaxial directions, determine the magnitude of the vertical acceleration according to the detection value of the sensor 20 and the ratio in any axial direction, and determine whether the exercise state is the running state or not according to the magnitude of the vertical acceleration.

SOLUTION: A telephone set 1 is provided with a cordless telephone set 9 for sending/receiving radio data from a remote place. When a control signal detection circuit 6 detects a DTMF signal on a line which interconnects the telephone set 1 and a communication network 4, the detection circuit 6 informs its information to an information controller 7. As a result of the analysis of a DTMF signal through a control signal analysis circuit 11, when a button, e.g. '*1' has been depressed, the control circuit 7 instructs the start of recording during a conversation which a telephone service application of an information processing unit 3 to a voice recording circuit 12 according to the allotment of DTMF control signal decided in advance. The voice recording circuit 12 stores voice data to a voice data storage circuit 15 via a voice form conversion circuit 14 so as to execute the recording processing.

In the case that a communication destination has a digital communication function, a reply message is returned via an ISDN channel and the communication is started. On the other hand, in the case that the communication destination has no digital communication function, an interrupt message is returned. In this case, a call message denoting a communication capability in terms of a signal of an existing analog network is used and the call is made again.
