    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an image colorant dissolved in a developer by development of a PS plate from being deposited and solidifying on a heater.
      SOLUTION: The developer is supplied to a first spray pipe 51 in a developing tank 24. The heater 88 is provided in the developing tank 24. A liquid flow forming unit 91 has a liquid flow forming head 92 and a branch pipe 93. The branch pipe 93 is connected to a branch pipe 51b of the first spray pipe 51 through a rubber hose 94. Part of the developer flowing in the first spray pipe 51 is sent to the liquid flow forming head 92. The space between the peripheral surface of the heater 88 and the inner surface of the liquid flow forming head 92 is kept uniform by a space forming ring 95 and the developer uniformly flows out on the peripheral surface of the heater 88 along a longitudinal direction of the heater 88. A heater cover 96 is attached to the liquid flow forming head 92. The inner surface of the heater cover 96 is provided with a taper surface 96a having a gradient of 13/1,000.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of maintenance work by preventing a belt for holding and transporting photographic paper cut by one picture unit from meandering.
      SOLUTION: One rotation shaft 64A of a belt 60-wound tension roller 64 for exerting tension to the belt 60 is movably supported in the tension-providing direction; the other rotation shaft 64A is in a loosely engaged state. As a result, the one rotation shaft 64A is movable in the moving direction based on belt reaction force except the tension-providing direction. Restricting the adjustment of the degree of moving direction caused by the belt reaction by means of an adjustment plate 78 inclines the axis of the tension controller 64 with respect to a reference orthogonal to the belt transportation direction to correct the meandering. Therefore, the meandering is corrected by only adjusting the adjustment plate 78. Thus, adjustment is possible by a non-expert to improve maintenance work efficiency.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a distortion which is the greatest defect of a processing liquid tank made of a synthetic resin with a simple structure, and to prevent a thickness increase as the tank is made large-sized while adopting the processing liquid tank made of the synthetic resin as a basic configuration. SOLUTION: A light weight being an advantage as a synthetic resin is achieved by forming the processing liquid tank 24 from the synthetic resin. Although a metallic processing liquid processing part requires many man-hours in the bending, welding, etc., of a steel plate, but since it is a plastic molding, an assembly man-hour is reduced and assembling workability is improved. About the rigidity which is the demerit of the synthetic resin, the simple structure of attaching a bar 53 to a partition wall 52 secures required rigidity. A shape of the bar 53 is adopted so as to reliably be held by the own elastic force of a holding part 56, thereby it becomes unnecessary post-process working such as injection of adhesive, etc. The head 54 is broader than the wall thickness size of the partition wall 52, thereby suppresses contamination.
