    • PURPOSE:To improve the productivity of a card edge type surface mounted connector by surely and completely connecting even a circuit substrate provided with any number of connecting terminals spaced with an equal pitch between the respective two adjacent terminals to the connector via a single insulator. CONSTITUTION:In a connector composed of an insulator 41 having terminal fixation holes 41a arranged in two lines at equi-space pitches and plural number of jack terminals each having a tongue-piece-like contact 11a at one end thereof, the insulator 41 for retentively fixing the jack terminals in parallel with one another while the tongue-piece-like contacts 11a are kept at specified spaces is formed by providing the insulator with the number of the terminal fixation holes 41a corresponding to a number exceeding a required number of the terminals by not less than four terminals. Moreover, the connector is composed by providing it with at least two circuit-substrate guides 42, each having leg-like projections 42-1, 42-2 being able to be fixed to the insulator 41 via the two terminal fixation holes 41a mutually adjacent between the two lines thereof and also each formed with a groove 42a for guiding a circuit substrate 2 to a block portion joined to the leg-like projections along a side-face on one side of the groove so that the circuit-substrate may be positioned between lines of the contacts 11a.

    • PURPOSE: To realize easy positioning of a printed circuit board for connection thereof and provide a proper grounding short circuit concurrently by forming a positioning terminal having a tongue piece as integral part thereof on the edge of a connector at the side of a contact lead in the vicinity of both lengthwise ends. CONSTITUTION: A positioning earth terminal 22 is formed to have a U-shaped structure of the first two tongue pieces 22a-1 and 22a-2, and the second one positioning piece 22b. A projection to be inserted ire and fixed to a hole 21a for providing and fixing the terminal 22 is formed on a connecting piece 22. The end area of the piece 22b is bent externally for allowing a circuit board to be easily capped. In this case, two projections 22d of the terminal 22 are inserted in and fixed to each grounding terminal fixing hole 21a of an insulator 21 as shown by arrows G1 and G2. As a result, the connector 2 with the tongue pieces 22a-1 and 22a-2, and the tongue piece 22b can be constituted as shown in Figs (1-2) and (1-3). Consequently, the two opposite terminals 22b of the terminal 22 restrict the breadthwise position of the circuit board, while the tongue pieces 22a-1 and 22a-2 restrict the thicknesswise direction thereof.

CONSTITUTION:A device is provided with multiple switches 11a-11d in which operation knobs 17a-17d are pushed and operated linearly for changing and processing a number of circuits electrically, key tops 15a, 15b rotatably installed on a housing 13, and an operation force converting mechanism to convert rotation action of the key tops 15a, 15b into pushing action of the operation knobs 17a-17d of the multiple switches 11a-11d. The operation force converting mechanism is composed of shaft parts 22a, 22b provided on the operation knobs 17a-17d of the multiple switches 11a-11d, and cam grooves 19a, 19b formed in the key tops 15a, 15b to be engaged with the shaft parts 22a, 22b. In accordance with rotation action of the key tops 15a, 15b, the shaft parts 22a, 22b are displaced relatively inside the cam grooves 19a, 19b, thereby the operation knobs 17a-17d are pushed and operated linearly.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a multi-unit key in a hey board device having the small stroke by forming a flap piece of the key top so as to pass through a printed- wiring board and a resin insulating material, and napping a guide vertically moving to the insulating material, and engaging a ling with, at least, a pair of flap pieces at the position lower than the insulating material. CONSTITUTION:In a key board device 11, a flap piece 14c of the key top 14 pushed down through a sheet 6 is guided with a guide 13 which is expansible without hindering other parts by flapping from an insulating material 13 fitted in the lower surface of a wiring board 2, and wile the top 14 maintains the level even if the end is pushed down by comprising a U-shape link 15 and moves vertically to operate a switch 3. Next, when the pushing dow forth applied to the top 14 is removed, the top 14 is pushed up by the reset forth of an actua tor 7 to be reset to the first condition.
