    • PURPOSE:To facilitate the assembling working and to reduce the number of parts in the constitution of a liquid crystal display panel unit. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal display panel 1, tape carriers 2 packed with a LSI 3, printed wiring boards 4 disposed in the flanks of the display panel 1 and a connecting substrate 5 connecting the proximate ends of a pair of printed wiring boards 4 are stored in a housing 8 in which decorative sheets, 6, 7 are combined. The connecting substrate 5 forming plural pieces of conductor patterns 13 has a U-shape with a pair of connecting parts 5a and 5b being in parallel with each other. The connecting part 5a is fitted in a hole formed at the one end of a pair of the printed wiring boards 4 and the connecting part 5b is fitted in a hole formed at the other end of a pair of the printed wiring boards 4, and the connecting substrate 5 is fixed with a solder or the like to a pair of the printed wiring boards 4. The connecting board 5 electrically connecting and fixing the printed wiring boards 4 is fitted in recesses 9 and 10 provided at the inside of the decorative sheets 6 and 7 and held between the recesses 9 and 10.

    • PURPOSE:To shorten access time for a boot loop by controlling so that the number of bits from the top of defective loop information to a replicator can be an even number. CONSTITUTION:The number of the shift bits of the data of each loop is increased for 1 bit with a device bit number identifying signal to indicate whether the number M of the bits of a minor loop and the boot loop is even or odd, a stop bit number identifying signal to indicate whether the number n0 of bits from the replicator of the boot loop to the stop position of the top of the defective loop information is even or odd, a shift bit number identifying signal to indicate whether the number n2 of bits from the data of the minor loop to the replicator is even or odd, and a comparing signal to indicate whether the relation between the number N of bits, which is the sum of the numbers n0 and n2 of bits, and the number M of bits is N =M when the device bit number identifying signal is at an even number state, and the shift bit number identifying signal is at an odd number state, or, when the device bit number identifying signal is at the odd number state, the comparing signal is N =M, and the shift bit number identifying signal is at the odd state. Thus, the access time to the boot loop can be shortened.

    • PURPOSE:To protect retention data by writing the data from an external part and the storing data of a second storing area, which is provided to a magnetic bubble memory, to a first storing area with a logical operating means and outputting them to the external part with executing reverse conversion when these data are read. CONSTITUTION:At the writing time of the data, the data stored to a second storing area 32 of a magnetic bubble memory 3 (the special data of a pass-word, etc.,) and the external data to be inputted to a control means 1 are operated by a logical operating means 2 and the operated result is stored to a first storing area 31 of the magnetic bubble memory 3. On the other hand, at the reading time of the data, the data of this first storing area 31 and the data of the second storing area 32 are operated and the reverse conversion is executed so that these data can be the same data as the external data inputted to the control means 1 at the writing time. Then, these data are outputted to a data bus. Thus, since the exact reading of the data can not be executed by a device not to equip the same logical operating means, information stored to the magnetic bubble memory can be protected.
