    • PURPOSE:To enable intake in the presence of fats and oils while suppressing increase in body weight without disturbing absorption of other nutriments, by containing behenic acid which is a hydrogenated substance of erucin acid contained in rapeseed oil, etc., as a constituent fatty acid. CONSTITUTION:An extremely hardened oil of rapeseed oil with a high erucin content containing about 45% 22C unsaturated fatty acids is hydrolyzed and rectified to provide behenic acid, which is then esterified to afford fatty acid esters. The obtained fatty acid esters are subsequently rectified to provide a fraction containing 20-24C saturated fatty acid esters, which are then mixed with a sunflower oil with a high oleic acid content and subjected to ester interchange using an enzymic agent selectively acting on the 1,3-positions to afford a reaction oil having 45 iodine value. The resultant reaction oil is fractionated by dissolving to separate and collect a low-melting fraction. Thereby the following effects are obtained. The fats and oils are ingested without disturbing absorption of other nutriments and producing behenic acid accumulation effects in blood lipid or myocardia to promote discharge of feces which are not soft feces. The amount of increase in body weight based on that of intake is suppressed.
