    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anemometer capable of accurately measuring a wind velocity from the vertical direction of a vane wheel by eliminating a problem in a conventional device wherein the anemometer installed at the top of a nacelle cannot accurately measure only a wind velocity from the vertical direction of the vane wheel, and a wind power generation device having the anemometer capable of reflecting measurement values measured by the anemometer on the control of maximum output. SOLUTION: In this wind power generation device having the vane wheel 1 rotating about a horizontal shaft 3, an air hole 8 is formed at the centers of a hub 2 fixing the vane wheel 1 and a shaft 3 supporting the hub, and the anemometer 15 measuring the wind velocity of wind passing the air hole 8 is installed. The anemometer 15 comprises a resistance wire sensor 15-1 having resistance values varying with the wind velocity and temperature of the wind blowing out from the end part of the air hole 8 or from radially formed holes 9 and a sheath resistance wire sensor 15-2 having detection values varying with the temperature of the wind. The wind velocity can be measured by using the detection values of the resistance wire sensor 15-1 and the sheath resistance wire sensor 15-2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
