    • PURPOSE:To perform function of both cutting off the open air and ventilation, by a method wherein a sensor detecting an indoor and an outdoor pressure and contamination concentration of indoor air is mounted, and from its detecting output, automatic control is made on the velocity of discharge flow of a jet of an air curtain. CONSTITUTION:A pressure sensor C1 is mounted to a front wall in the vicinity of an opening part, and a velocity of open air flow Vs is detected in a state of being converted into a pressure. A detected pressure Pstag is indicated by means of a pressure gauge A1, and the rotational speed of a motor 7 of a blower 6 is varied through an inverter INV according to a program preinputted to a controller CNT. The variation of the rotational speed controls flow rate QJ in a duct 11, i.e. velocity of flow VJ of a nozzle 3-1, and brings an air curtain 5 into an excellent condition state. Further, through control effected on detected outputs from outer and inner pressure sensors C1 and CIR and contamination concentration C2, contaminated air is discharged through a suction port 8.

    • PURPOSE:To form an air curtain at a high wind area, by a method wherein a discharge port and a suction port for a jet flow are intercoupled through a duct to form a closed loop, where a variable blower and a noise absorbing device are incorporated, and a discharge nozzle forms a multilayer parallel nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A discharge chamber 8 and a suction chamber 7 of an air curtain are intercoupled through a duct 9. A blower 1, varying an airflow, is mounted in the duct 9. Air from a blower 1 is introduced to the discharge chamber 8, and noise is absorbed and a flow is uniformized by means of a noise absorbing plate 2 to discharge air through a multilayer parallel nozzle 4 of the discharge port by means of a filter 3. The discharged air forms an air curtain to return it to the blower 1 by its passage through the suction chamber 7 from a louver 5 of the suction port. The multilayer parallel nozzle 4 suppresses diffusion of a jet, and enables improvement of a shut-off effect of an outer air at a low jet speed. This constitution enables an air curtain system to be installed even to a building under strong wind environment without producing unpleasant feeling of a passerby.

CONSTITUTION:When the amt. of the deposit on a heating tube 3 of the evaporator 1 is increased, the increase is detected by a scale deposition signal transmitter 4, and a signal is outputted. When the signal is outputted, the motor-operated value 20 of a liq. concentrate discharge pipe 5 is closed, a solenoid valve 21 is opened, and the cleaning soln. is injected into a waste liq. supply pipe 7. A valve 22 is then opened, and a neutralizer is injected into a tank 6. Scales are removed under such conditions. When the removal of scales is finished, the valves 21 and 22 are closed, the valve 20 is opened, and normal operation is resumed. A steam compressor 2 is not stopped in this method, and scales are removed with a small amt. of cleaning soln. without providing an additional tank.

    • PURPOSE:To improve an evaporator performance and perform a stable operation by providing an evaporator with bypass means for bypassing a high pressure refrigerant gas in a passage from a compressor to an expansion valve to the evaporator. CONSTITUTION:A condenser 33 is cooled by a fan 21, a cooled refrigerant is condensed and its pressure is reduced by an expansion valve 34. The refriger ant absorbs heat by freezing water in an evaporator 36 via a header 35 to be evaporated. The evaporator 36 is provided with a fan 38 outside a refrigerant passage 37 whereby a cooling capacity is improved. Evaporated refrigerant gas is drawn by a compressor 39 to be compressed and discharged into the condenser 33 again via a header 40. On the other hand, water in the bottom portion of an ice tank unit 32 is sucked by a pump 41, fed to a header 44 via a three way valve 42 and a pipeline 43 and blown out from a flowout portion 45 in the direction of a fin portion. Therefore, ice 46 grows on the fin portion and, at a time when the thickness of the ice is increased, a bypass control valve 47 is opened. The opening of the valve 47 is controlled by the signal of a detector 48 so that an evaporating temperature is above 0 deg.C.

CONSTITUTION:As a medium, more than two kinds of mixture liquids of water and liquid not solved in water, having a lower condensing point than that of water and having a higher specific weight are used. As liquid to be used together with water, there are trichlorotrifuloroethane and dichloropentafuloropropane or the like. Cold water discharged from a water layer 52 is increased in its pressure by a pump 31, enters an ejector 32, merges with organic medium guided through a communicating pipe 35 connected to a low pressure side with the ejector 32 as well as through a organic medium layer 53 having a higher specific weight so as to make a mixed medium. The cold water passes through a piping 36 and enters an ice making device 4. The mixed medium passes through a thermal conducting pipe 37 and is cooled there, a part of the water makes ice. The water is guided to the piping 38 and then the water is separated into an ice layer 51, a water layer 52 and an organic medium layer 53 by a thermal accumulator 33. This cycle is repeated and the ice is accumulated in the thermal accumulation device 33.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a cold storage system which is small in size, excellent in heat transfer efficiency in a cold storage container, safe and easy for maintenance, and excellent in cold storage efficiency by a method wherein by means of a medium cooled by a freezer during storage of cold, a high water absorptive resin substance in a cold storage container is cooled, water held by the high water absorptive resin substance is frozen, and by means of the latent heat of the water, cold is storage. CONSTITUTION:When there is no cooling load during the night, a medium cooled by a freezer flows through a gap between the grains of a granular high water absorptive resin substance 33 by which water in a cold storage container 32 is held and makes direct contact therewith for heat exchange to ice water held in the high water absorptive resin substance 33. The medium itself is heated and flows through a piping 45 back to a pump 31 for circulation to store a cold heat in a latent heat state of ice. Meanwhile, when there is a cooling load during a daytime, a 3-way valve 34 is switched, the medium flowing from the pump 31 flows through a piping 46 to a heat exchanger 36. Cooling load fluid fed through a piping 51 is cooled by means of the heat exchanger 36, and flows from a piping 52 and is fed to a cooling load.
