    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding device, dispensing with high electrode position precision in a case where a grinding wheel which is accompanied with ultrasonic vibration is attached to a wheel mount, causing no failure in electrode contact even if a node region changes during ultrasonic vibration processing, and facilitating attaching and detaching of the grinding wheel.SOLUTION: In the grinding device (1), a fixed electrode (62) having magnetic force is set to the wheel mount (31), and a movable electrode portion (71) containing a movable electrode 713 formed from such material as is attracted by magnetic force is set in a housing part (413a) of a wheel base (413). The movable electrode portion (71) is housed for reciprocating in the housing part (413a). When the wheel mount (31) is attached to the wheel base (413), the movable electrode portion (71) is caused to contact to the fixed electrode (62) by the magnetic force of the fixed electrode (62), for energization of an annular ultrasonic vibrator (415) while the movable electrode portion (71) is separated from the wheel base (413).

Since the movable electrode 72 and the fixed electrode 38 are brought into contact with each other by the magnetic force, the electrodes can be easily coupled with each other, and only by attaching/detaching the grinding wheel 33 to/from the wheel mount 32, the movable electrode 72 and the fixed electrode 38 can be easily attached/detached to/from each other.
