    • PURPOSE:To obtain a method for counting an article such as printing sheet, etc., without necessity of accurately regulating a counted value irrespective of a thickness of the sheet by inclining the article in a feeding direction without rotating the article, allowing its edge to exteriors to be superposed to each other to protrude, and disposing a sensor, on its moving route. CONSTITUTION:Printing sheets 2 are fed in a shape deviated, gathered and flowed on a conveyor 1, and inclined without rotating by inclining and feeding means on the way of moving. As a result, edges 8 of the sheets 2 protrude at exteriors to be superposed to each other. While the sheets 2 are feeding, connected edges 8 protruding at the exteriors of the sheets 2 are advanced in a serrate wave, and passed between connecting lines of an oscillator 3 and a receiver 4. Accordingly, the connecting line of the oscillator 3 to the receiver 4 is shut OFF by the edge 8 of the sheet 2 at a crest of the serrate wave, and since the line is disposed between the edge 8 and the edge 8 continues to the previous edge 8 at a trough of the serrate wave, it is not shut OFF. Therefore, a period of a change of an output signal of the receiver 4 coincide with hat of the serrate wave, and counts of the sheets 2 can be counted by counting the period of the output signal of the receiver 4.

    • PURPOSE: To provide accumulated printed paper which are excellently arranged by computing an executing speed at which a supporting member is moved in the direction retracting from a guide plate on the basis of a transferring speed of the printed paper transferred while partially overlapping each other, thickness of the printed paper, and pressing force of the printed paper toward the guide plate and moving the supporting member at this execution speed. CONSTITUTION: Printed paper sheets 1, which are transferred while partially overlapping each other by means of a belt conveyor and moved into a printed paper accumulating device, are brought into contact with an accumulation table belt 13, in which the printed sheets 1 are standingly supported by means of a guide plate 10 so as to accumulated. In this accumulating process, a traveling speed of the printed sheets 1 is computed on the basis of the output from a revolution counter 8 in a reference speed computing unit 15, while thickness of the printed sheets 1 is computed on the basis of the output from a displace gauge 6, and then, a reference speed is computed on the basis of the traveling speed and the thickness. In a correction speed computing unit 16, a correction speed is computed on the basis of the output from a load cell 9, and in an execution speed computing unit 17, and actual speed is computed on the basis of the reference speed and the correction speed, and consequently, moving speed for a supporting member 11 and the accumulation table belt 13 are controlled.

    • PURPOSE:To surely sort printed books into a plurality of bundles each having a predetermined number without damaging the books, by providing partition plates which can be moved in parallel with an accumulating table, and which are adapted to be inserted so as to sort the books accumulated upright in a row on the table. CONSTITUTION:When a row 11 of accumulated books has a predetermined number, a partition plates 6a, 6b are started to vibrate in a condition in which the partition plates 6a, 6b are made into integrally close contact with each other. The partition plates 6a, 6b are projected above an accumulating table 4 into the row 11 of accumulated books while they vibrate so as to sort the books in the row 11. After the insertion of the partition plates, since the books 10 are shifted successively, the partition plates 6a, 6b are moved in association with an increase in the number of books in the row together with a support member for supporting the trailing end part of the row 11. Thereafter, the opening and closing operation of the partition plates 6a, 6b is carried out so as to support the books on the left side of the row while the books on the right side of the row are moved rightward by the partition plate 6b.

    • PURPOSE:To greatly shorten the time period of prepation as well as reduce the wasting of papers by a method in which initial setting position prepared on the basis of information on pattern and area is finely adjusted, lighting is made in order by an indicator to move the opening degrees by an operating screw and switching operation, and recording is made on a recording medium through a luminous element which can be put on and out. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic card 18 is used for initial setting in case where the same printing is again printed the other day, a fine adjustment is again needed. If the adjusting position of a pot screw 12 after the fine adjustment is once recorded on a recording medium, e.g., magnetic card, the needs for fine adjustment for printing following 2nd printing are eliminated. By a pushing switch 50 or 51, LED display is orderly lit or put out from the initial set position, and LED display is matched with the position of the indicator 35 after the fine adjustment. Information on the position of the regulating body after fine adjustment can be stored in RAM by matching LED display of each unit 25 with the position of the indicator 35 after the fine adjustment.
