摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a termite-controlling agent containing (4-ethoxyphenyl) [3-(4-fluoro-3-phenoxyphenyl)propyl] (dimethyl)silane as an active ingredient and further a specific compound and expressing the potency for a long period. SOLUTION: This termite-controlling agent for treating the soil contains (4-ethoxyphenyl) [3-(4-fluoro-3-phenoxyphenyl)propyl] (dimethyl)silane as an active ingredient and further an alcohol-modified polysiloxane compound. The active ingredient and the alcohol-modified polysiloxane compound are preferably used in a weight ratio of 1:1 to 1:10. The termite-controlling agent for treating the soil is preferably prepared in the form of an aqueous formulation. The alcohol-modified polysiloxane compound is e.g. a side chain-modified polysiloxane compound of formula I (x is 0-100; y is 1-100; R1 is a 1-20C alkylene, an alkyleneoxide, etc.,), or a terminal-modified polysiloxane compound of formula II or III (W is 1-100; R4 is a 1-20C alkylene, an alkyleneoxy, etc.,).
