      SOLUTION: This step-down circuit has a both-wave rectifying element (bridge diode) where four pieces of bridged diodes are sealed with resin within a package. One or more unit step-down circuits 7, in each of which two pieces of both terminals are short-circuited out of four pieces of diodes 3a, 3b, 3c and 3d among the both-wave rectifying element and residual two pieces are connected to be parallel, are connected in series and are mounted on a board.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-holding solenoid valve driving device hardly causing abnormalities at opening and closing a valve even if a valve element is braked due to the interpolation of an adhesive foreign matter, and the operation of a movable iron core slows down.
      SOLUTION: A voltage generating circuit for generating a voltage applied to a coil of the self-holding solenoid valve generates such a voltage that a constant value of a current energized to the coil is set to an upper limit within a current range where an elastic force of a spring applied to the movable iron core becomes larger than a magnetic force applied to the movable iron core by a synthetic magnetic field comprising a magnetic field generated by the coil and the magnetic field of a permanent magnet, when the movable iron core is driven in a direction of pulling the core out of a cylinder case. Thereby, even if the valve element is braked due to the interpolation of the adhesive foreign matter such as scales, and the operation of the movable iron core slows down, the movable iron core is pressed in the pull-out direction continuously for a longer period of time than before. Thus, there is a high possibility that the movable iron core can finally reach a position having no influence by the magnetic force of the permanent magnet, thus hardly causing abnormalities at opening and closing the valve.
