    • PURPOSE:To obtain a compact ommateal projecting device by arranging a plurality of cylindrical bar lenses generating an erected unmagnification image on a plane plate and by fixing them by the adhesive admixed with a black pigment to form the first stage array and by arranging and fixing the second stage and following stages zigzag with the shift of every interval corresponding to the half of the bar lens. CONSTITUTION:The inverted intermediate image of object 12 is formed on the center image surface of cylindrical bar lens 11 to focus erected unmagnification image 14 onto the projection face. The light off from the optical axis is absorbed by light absorbing layer 15, and the solid angle of the light flux converged to the image surface becomes smaller according as it is further from the optical axis. These bar lenses 11 are arranged in parallel on the groove, where the adhesive admixed with a black pigment is applied to groove plate 18 previously, and are fixed, and after that, the second stage bar lenses 11 (shown by the dotted line) are fixed with the shift of the interval corresponding to the half of the bar lens by the same adhesive, and thus, plural stages are arranged zigzag. Glass and other resins can be used for bar lenses 11. As a result, a compact ommateal projecting device is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To make optical adjustment easy and stabilize optical performance by forming the element lens system in a projector comprising a compound eye optical system into the only transmission type lens of an optical axis direction length longer than the lens effective diameter. CONSTITUTION:A lens 18 has a length longer in the optical axis direction than the lens effective diameter. An object 19 is imaged as an inverted intermediate image 20 in the intermediate part in the optical axis direction of the lens 18 and is finally formed as an erecting unmagnification image 21 on the projecting plane. An absorbing layer 22 is set on the outer side of the lens 18 and the rays beyond the lens effective diameter region are annihilated by the absorbing layer 22. Hereupon, the intensity distribution of this element lens system becomes a Gauss distribution and it is possible to make nearly a uniform intensity distribution on the image plane by arraying a plurality of these in more than one row at an equal space within the plane normal to the optical axis. It is desirable that the lens 18 satisfies condition formulas 1, 2, 3. In this way, the optical adjustment may be made easy and the optical performance is stabilized.
