    • PURPOSE: To attain optional movement of visual point in a space by receiving an image from plural visual point positions, detecting a position and a direction of eyes of image viewer, and configuring an image seen from the visual point positon again from multi-visual point image data based thereon. CONSTITUTION: A virtual image is configured again by forming a virtual image pickup point Vp being a visual point of a viewer by using images picked up on line segments l0 , l1 , l2 . A picture element value of a virtual image Vu formed by using the point Vp to be a virtual image pickup point is the same value as a picture element value of an image Ru obtained by image pickup while using a cross point Rp of the line segments l0 , l1 , l2 as an image pickup visual point being a center of a lens. In order to obtain the virtual image Vu, a ray is traced in the unit of picture elements in this way and values of the picture elements constituting the virtual image Vu are to be decided one by one. An image in the optional visual point position and in the direction of line of sight is configured again from the image picked up from a limited image pickup visual point to attain optional visual point movement in a space.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the user side equipment to acquire information on the management state of control right and to improve the operability by indicating it to the user in the remote camera control system that manages a control request relating to the camera from a plurality of user equipments. SOLUTION: In the system that includes a server to which a camera is connected and a client controlling remotely an image pickup condition of the camera, the server generates a message denoting a state relating to a camera control right as to each client and issues the message to each client. When the client side discriminates it that the received message is a message denoting a state relating to camera control, the client acquires and stores the state of the control right and its valid time from the message and stores the reception time of the message (steps S301, 302, 305, 306). Then the client displays the state of the control right and its remaining time based on the stored information and the current time.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a moving image retrieving device capable of reducing the quantity of inputted annexed information and simply changing the annexed information. CONSTITUTION: An information processing system 10 to be the moving image retrieving device is provided with a central processing unit(CPU) 1, an input device 2, an output device 3, a data base 4, a storage device 5, and a system bus 6. The data base 4 stores tree structure and annexed information. A moving image is retrieved by adopting the addition of annexed information to each node of tree structure as a prerequisite and the retrieval of a moving image scene is regarded as equivalence to the retrieval of a node in the tree structure. The tree structure holds an attribute for generally recording connection relation in each node and recording annexed information, a node name, etc. Information added to each node constituting the tree structure is succeeded in order from a top node to lower nodes. When said processing is executed before retrieval or after inputting all annexed information, the annexed information added to the tree structure can be hierarchically managed. Since the annexed information is succeeded to respective nodes of the tree structure, keyword retrieval can be executed by using a conventional retrieving method.
