    • PURPOSE:To wind a fine wire easily around a body through a fine hole thereof by a method wherein the fine wire is inserted into the fine hole together with fine liquid stream discharged from a nozzle with the fine hole and the nozzle of body arranged in an gaseous atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:One end of a coil 3 is fixed to an adequate position and liquid is discharged from a nozzle 4 of a closed funnel-shaped guide 5 while the other idle end side coil 3 is made skirt along the inner wall of said guide 5. The idle end side of coil 3 instantaneously inserted into a core hole 2 together with fine liquid stream A thus discharged. After the insertion, the liquid discharge is stopped and the funnel-shaped guide 5 is splitted to hole the end of coil 3 and tension is applied. At this time, the coil 3 is pulled out of said guide 5 adhering closely to the core 1 without any slacking. Successively the coil 3 being reset to its original position is positioned along a gap S of aligning guide 6 and then the idle end side of coil 3 thus positioned is made skirt along the inner wall of said guide 5 while discharging liquid from the nozzle 4 of closed funnel-shaped guide 5 to be inserted into the core hole 2 together with the fine liquid stream A.

    • PURPOSE:The uniformly irradiate the surface of a pearl with light from its peripheral side and, at the same time, selectively receive a required component only from the reflected light from the pearl so as to sort the pearl by color. CONSTITUTION:An ellipspidal concave mirror 1 having two focal points A and B, pearl supporting member 3 which supports a pearl 2 to be measured near the point A, image forming lens 4 for obtaining the inverted image of the pearl 2, optical fiber 5 for receiving light which receives light from the inverted image of the pearl 2 except the central and peripheral parts of the image, optical fiber 4 for projecting light equipped with a ring-like light projecting section C, and a conical mirror 6 which reflects the light projected from the section C toward the internal surface of the mirror 1. Therefore, the pearl 2 can be uniformly irradiated with light from its peripheral side and the radius of curvature and incident angle of the mirror 1 can be reduced, and then, an appropriate spatial margin can be obtained between the pearl 2 and mirror 1. Since only a required component is selectively received from the reflected light, high sorting accuracy is obtained.
