      SOLUTION: An image processing function in a 3D image formation section includes an internal processing section 262, a boundary processing section 264, and a voxel computing section 266. The internal processing section 262 executes a uniformization process to the inside of the object site in the volume data, and the boundary processing section 264 executes a gradation process to a boundary between the object side and the other sites in the volume data. The voxel computing section 266 executes a volume rendering process to the volume data treated with the uniformization process and the gradation process so as to form the image data of three-dimensional images expressing the object site three-dimensionally.
