摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent stains on the end of a printing plate in a photosensitive lithographic plate prepared by forming a photosensitive layer on an aluminum support having a hydrophilic surface by treating the end of the support to render it oleophobic. CONSTITUTION:A stack of large number of PS plates cut in the same size is coated with a oleophobic soln. on the cut face to render the ends of said plates incompatible with oils and fats. As the method for coating them with said soln., the methods of coating with a brush, a sponge roll, or using spray are used. As said treating soln., solns. known as those used for lithographic plates using an aluminum plate as a support can be effectively used. Especially, hydrophilic polymers, such as gum arabic, sodium alginate, a water-soluble cellulose, such as carboxymethyl cellulose, or other copolymers, are desirable.

摘要： PURPOSE:To effectively use both sides of a double-faced type PS plate (photosensitive planographic plate) by providing a photosensitive layer on the surface of each of two supports releasably adhered to each other on the back side thereof by a weak adhesive. CONSTITUTION:To produce a composite PS plate, two aluminum plates 1 are releasably adhered to each other on the back side thereof by a weak adhesive 3, each of the face sides of the plates 1 is subjected to a surface treatment such as graining and electrolytic oxidation, and a photosensitive composition is applied to each of the face sides of the plates 1, followed by drying. To use the composite PS plate, one side thereof is first subjected to imagewise exposure by an ordinary method according to the kind of the photosensitive layer on that side, then the other side is subjected to imagewise exposure, and both sides are simultaneously subjected to development. A developing liquid and a developing means are appropriately selected according to the type of the photosensitive layer to be developed. When images are formed, the supports 1 are released from each other, and each of the PS plates thus obtained is used for printing on an offset press or the like.

This photosensitive solution is coated and dried on the surface of an Al substrate 1 which has undergone anodic oxidation treatment, whereby a photosensitive layer 2 is formed. In such layer 2, the respective components do not exist evenly over the entire part of the layer 2 and the copolymer II exists in the surface a of the layer 2 or its neighborhood and yet its -COOR6 orients to the outer side of the layer 2, thus in the surface a, higher lipophilic nature higher than that of b and c inner than this is shown.

摘要： PURPOSE:To rapidly erase a desired image portion alone without exerting unfavorable influence on the adjacent necessary image by using the title correcting agent prepared by adding a specified lactone and one or more kinds of compounds selected from glycol ethers and ketones. CONSTITUTION:This correcting agent is prepared by combinendly adding a 4-6C lactone such as gamma-butyrolactone and one or more kinds of compounds selected from glycol ethers and ketones. An unnecessary image portion of a lithographic printing plate developed and well washed with water is coated with a writing brush dipped in a solution of this agent. The coated plate is allowed to stand for about 10sec- about 1min and washed with water to remove the agent, whereby the image portion coated with the agent is cleanly erased and becomes a non-image portion. The plate is then treated by a usual method such as rubber coating and used as a lithographic printing plate.

Preferably, the phase (a) contains a compound selected from (e) a polyhydric alcohol, (f) an alkali metal and an ammonium salts. Phosphoric, sulfuric, or citric acid may be cited as the acid used as a pH adjustor.
