    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic forming machine and a hydraulic forming method capable of performing preferable hydraulic forming with a simplified die structure. SOLUTION: A working fluid A is filled in a recessed part 21a formed in a base 21 by using the hydraulic forming device 20, and a metallic plate body 11 is placed on a supporting part 21b with a lower die 22 stored therein. Next, a blank holder 24 is lowered and a peripheral edge portion of the placed metallic plate body 11 is fixed thereby together with the supporting part 21b. An upper die 23 is lowered, and the metallic plate body 11 is held between itself and the lower die 22, and pressed down to compress the working fluid A and increase the hydraulic pressure. A stripe-like projecting part 12 is transferred to the metallic plate body 11 with a forming part 23a and the high-pressure working fluid A flowing through a through-hole 22a. Then, the hydraulic pressure is maintained for a predetermined time. Then, the hydraulic pressure of the working fluid A is released to take out a thin-walled metallic plate 10.
