Then the inside of the piston rod 20 is provided with a built-in actuator assembly D for adjusting attenuation force step by step, which is constituted so as to enable to open or close bypass paths 71, 74 by a plunger 62 to be attracted through excitation of a coil 65.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the durability of an angle sensor, in the angle sensor capable of linearily detecting a rotary angle, by bringing a detection part to a non- contact state. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 20 pierces the eccentric hole 11 of a base member 10 and a light blocking plate 30 is fixed by the projection 21 provided to the leading end of the rotary shaft 20. The space between the base member 10 and a case member 60 is blocked from the open air by an O-ring 24, an oil seal 23, a bush 41 and an O-ring 61 and a printed circuit board 50 is fixed to the base member 10. A semiconductor position detection element being a light receiving means is secured to the printed circuit board 50 and a light emitting diode being a light emitting element is fixed to a photointerruptor case 54 so as to be opposed to sid detection element. The light blocking plate has a fan shape and a spirally cut slit 31 is provided thereto. By rotating the light blocking plate 30 corresponding to the rotation of the rotary shaft 20, the slit 31 corresponding to the part opposed to the light emitting element is moved to the diameter direction. Therefore, the position of a light spot moves to the diameter direction corresponding to the rotation of the light blocking plate 30.

    • PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the raising speed of a vehicle by a method wherein a check valve, which cuts off the air flow from an air chamber to an accumulator but allows to flow the air flow from the accumulator to the air chamber, is provided in an air passage connecting the air chamber of a suspension system and the accumulator. CONSTITUTION:Detection signals of height detectors 101 and 102 are inputted to a one chip microcomputer MPU and, after being processed, inputted to a control driving system 200. When a compressor 203 is driven under the condition that a solenoid valve SOL2 and the check valve SOL-CE are open, the accumulator 330 is filled. On the other hand, when the compressor 203 is driven under the condition that both the solenoid valves SOL1 and SOL2 are open, air is supplied to the suspension system 400 and when the condition that the air pressure in the accumulator 330 is high is moreover added to the condition just mentioned above, air is supplied from both the accumulator 330 and the air compressor 203 to the suspension system 400, resulting in performing high speed car body raising. When the air pressure in the accumulator 330 lowers, the check valve SOL-CE cuts off the connection between the accumulator 330 and the solenoid valve SOL2, resulting in eliminating the lowering of the car body raising speed caused by the accumulator 330 turned to be encumbrance.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the fall in the speed of the increase in the height of a vehicle, by providing a solenoid valve and a control circuit to disconnect a pressure accumulator from the air chamber of a suspension unit and the discharge port of an air compressor when the pressure of the accumulator is lower than a prescribed level at the time of energizing for increasing the vehicle height. CONSTITUTION:When a compressor 203 is driven, a solenoid valve 310 is opened to store pressure in an accumulator 330. When a solenoid valve 330 is opened, a suspension unit 400 is operated to increase the height of a vehicle. The pressure in the accumulator 330 is found out by a pressure detection switch 340. When the pressure is higher than a prescribed level, the switch 340 is off. When the pressure is not higher than the level, the switch is on. When the pressure is higher than the prescribed level, a timing unit 140 has a high output level. When the pressure is not higher than the prescribed level, the timing unit 140 has a low output level. when the pressure switch 340 is on and the timing circuit 140 has the low output level at the time of the opening of the solenoid valve 310 by a vehicle height increasing signal generated by a counter CO2, the output level (i) of a gate AN1 becomes low to close the solenoid valve 310 to supply compressed air 203 only to the suspension unit 400. For that reason, the speed of the increase in the height of the vehicle is prevented from falling.

    • PURPOSE:To stabilize the height of a moving vehicle and quickly adjust the its height at the time of getting in and out, by using the output signals of a vehicle height detector and a movement detector to energize the suspension of the vehicle for a relatively-short prolonged time during the stoppage of the vehicle or for a relatively-long prolonged time during the movement of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:Electric power V is applied, an oscillator 211 generates pulses (f) and a counter CO1 sends out pulses of double, eightfold and sixteen-fold periods from terminals Q0-Q3 and another counter CO2 counts the pulses from the terminal Q2. Until the counter CO2 has counted eight pulses, its terminal Q3 is kept at a low level so that a door switch 50 is closed after the application of the electric power V. When a flip-flop FF1 remains reset and the counter CO2 has not yet counted eight pulses before the starting of a vehicle, short-period pulses (h) are supplied to an energizing controller 220. After the counting of the eight pulses and the starting of the vehicle, long-period pulses (g) are supplied to the energizing controller 220. According to this constitution, the height of the vehicle at the time of getting in and out is quickly adjusted and the frequency of the adjustment of the vehicle height is reduced to stabilize the height.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the car-height to be adjusted automatically according to the condition of bad or flat road by constituting a suspension apparatus so as to permit transition to the high car-height side when the number of times in which the car-height detected by a photocell type height detector is outside a prescribed range is integrated and the integrated value is above a certain value. CONSTITUTION:The detection signal of each photosensor 101-103 of a height detector 100 is put into the car-height vibration detector 210 and the signal processor 220 of a car-height adjusting controller 200. In the car-height vibration detector 210, the continuous frequency in height variation is counted by counters CO4-CO6, and if the number of counts in a fixed time exceeds a prescribed value, the control signal D=H for high car-height is output into the signal processor 220, and in other cases, D=L is output. In the signal processor 220, the indicated height and the detected height are compared, and the energizing signal is output into an energizing controller 230, so as to change the detected car- height to the indicated car-height and thus a suspension apparatus 500 is controlled. Thus, the car-height can be adjusted automatically according to the condition of the bad or flat road.
