When operating the third clutch C3, the second clutch C2 is in a released state, whereby the third clutch C3 is operated without exerting an influence upon the second clutch C2.

SOLUTION: As a vibration control means for controlling vibration of an oil pump, vibration easing roads 100, 102 of a fixed capacity, with a predetermined length and a predetermined section area smaller than a first discharge oil passage 86, are provided between the first discharge oil passage 86 and the uppermost stream side positions of a first discharge port 84. Accordingly, the existence of vibration easing roads 100, 102 reduces the change in pressure of the hydraulic oil in passing from a pump chamber 58 through the first discharge port 84 or a second discharge port 92. Thereby, a sudden release of the hydraulic oil is prevented. In other words, generation of periodic vibration of pressure, i.e., pressure oscillating wave, that is caused by the sudden pressure change (or drop) of the hydraulic oil is preferably eased. Therefore, vibration and noise of other members that are excited directly or indirectly by the vibration of the gear type lubricating oil pump containing the hydraulic oil are preferably prevented.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the falling of a spring without regulating the mutual rotation of members such as a retainer by providing an inclination regulating means for a coil spring on the retainer, and making the retainer rotatable relatively to a reaction member. SOLUTION: An inclination regulating means 51 for regulating the twisting around a shaft 11 of a coil spring 3 is formed of a pin fixed to a retainer 5 in the manner of rivet, and fixed on the retainer 5 on the bore side of the coil spring 3. The retainer 5 makes contact with a hydraulic servo piston 40 as reaction member in such a manner as to be relatively rotatable. When the rotation displacement of the retainer 5 is gradually accumulated by the repeated operation of the hydraulic servo 4 to increase the inclination of the spring ring 3, the reaction added to the pin 51 is increased, and when the reverse rotating directional force of the retainer 5 by it exceeds the frictional force, the retainer 5 is rotated to a snap ring 41 to release the reaction stored in the spring 3. Thus, falling of the spring 3 can be prevented.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a sealing properly between a communication pipe, which is used for feeding oil to an oil chamber of a hydraulic servo, and a cylinder drum in the hydraulic servo. SOLUTION: An oil seal device for an automatic transmission is provided with an oil chamber 25 in the inside, a cylindrical member which receives external force so as to move within the predetermined range in the circumference direction, a cylindrical seal member 77 which is pressed to the cylindrical member and is arranged with its point 77a faced to an oil hole 73 formed in the cylindrical member, and an oil supply means supplying oil to the oil chamber 25 via the oil path 72 connected to the inside of the seal member 77 and the oil hole 73. A recess part 87 is formed around the oil hole 73 on the outside surface of the cylindrical member, and the tip 77a of the seal member 77 is stored in the recess part 87. Even when the cylindrical member is moved within the predetermined range because of application of external force, the tip 77a of the seal member 77 is protected by means of the recess part 87. As damage of the tip 77a of the seal member 77 can be prevented, a sealing property can be improved.
