    • PURPOSE:To obviate a direct solar radiation-following device by a method wherein a refractive index distribution area making a light condensed on one point is formed in a transparent material shaped in a plate or in a similar form. CONSTITUTION:Semi-cylindrical areas 2 are formed in the bottom part of a flat-plate- shaped transparent material 1 along the longitudinal direction thereof and the refractive index of these semi-cylindrical areas 2 is made larger than that of a peripheral part. Thereby a solar light passing through each of the semi-cylindrical areas 2 is condensed on one point, while a heat collecting pipe 3 inside of which a liquid for heating flows is disposed in this light condensing part. A device constructed in this way is set on a slanting frame 4 of a proper angle and disposed so that the axis of each of the semi-cylindrical areas 2 is set in the east-west direction wherein the track of the solar light is located. According to this constitution, the solar light is collected in the heat collecting pipe 3 through the semi-cylindrical area 2 while the direct solar radiation of the sun shifts from the east to the west, and heats the liquid passing through the pipe 3. Thereby global solar radiation of a light condensing type can be utilized and a direct solar radiation following device can be dispensed with.

    • PURPOSE:To stop heat loss in heat collection and to obtain high temperature steam by installing a circulating type heat pump which consists of a reaction type heat collector and a heat generator, and a batch type heat pump which consists of a pair of steam generators. CONSTITUTION:A circulating type heat pump comprises a reactive type heat collector 1 which condenses the sun's rays 14 and collects heat chemically using a reversible reaction of organic matters or the like and a heat generator 2. And plural storage tanks 3A-3C which constitute a reservoir 3 which is equivalent to a heat storage layer are provided. On the other hand, a batch type heat pump consists of a steam generator 4 and a steam generator 7 which is arranged in the downstream line from a turbine generator 5 and a condenser 6 and which generates hydrogen to supply it to the steam generator 4 and which is in recovery stage. With these apparatuses, the organic matter is resolved by the sun's rays and the resolved components are reacted reversely with a catalyst to generate heat. On the other hand, metal hydride is formed by absorbing hydrogen and cold water is heated up by the heat of this reaction, then high temperature and high pressure steam is generated.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the installation space and cost for equipment and installations by providing a first heat exchanger in which heat is exchanged between hot thermal medium heated by collected heat and transported feed water as well as a second heat exchanger which generates steam for processing by heating the feed water with the operating medium. CONSTITUTION:Thermal medium 15 heated to the set temperature by collecting heat in a solar collector 1 exchanges heat with feed water 16 in a heat exchanger 2 where the feed water 16 is heated by the thermal medium 15. As the quantity of heat that can be collected by the solar collector 1 exceeds the set value when the sunshine is abundant, only the set amount regulated by a control valve CV3 is introduced into a heat exchanger 12, and the excessive hot feed water 16 passes through a control valve 4 to be stored in a storage tank 3. The feed water 16 now regulated to the set temperature and set flow rate becomes saturated gas by receiving heat of waste heat source 14 in a heat exchanger 9, which is then compressed in a compressor 10 and exchanges heat with operating medium 17 in the heat exchanger 12. Consequently, the feed water 16 becomes usable steam at still higher temperature and pressure and is supplied to the process.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the horizontal tracking type collector, which tracks the sun, by a method wherein a trestle and a heat collecting tube 12, attached to the trestle and integrated with a reflecting mirror, are pivoted when a driving unit is driven. CONSTITUTION:Supporting pillars 17 support the whole of the collector 11 and the trestle 15, to which the reflecting mirror 14 and the heat collecting tube 12 are attached through hinges 16, is fixed onto the pillars 17. An arm 19 is fixed to the trestle 15 and is moved by a driving mechanism (a hydraulic actuator 18) to effect the tracking of the reflecting mirror 14. Control command is outputted from a control unit in accordance with the movement of the sun to operate the hydraulic actuator 18 and pivot the trestle 15. According to this method, the reflecting mirror 14 faces to the direction of the sun at all times and collects the rays of light incident thereupon into the heat collecting tube 12 whereby heat collecting efficiency may be improved, structure may be simplified, assemblage may be facilitated and the cost may be reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To enable a title pipe to be applicable to heat collecting devices in various forms and to provide the pipe at a low cost through simple constitution by a method wherein the pipe is provided with a cylindrical heat absorbing pipe formed in a filmform manner by means of a flexible heat resistant material, and connection members to connect a pipe for circulating a heating medium are situated to both ends. CONSTITUTION:Rings 2 for connection with other pipe are joined with both ends of a filmform heat absorbing pipe 1 formed by a metal or a plastic series material. By filling the interior of the heat absorbing pipe 1 with a heating medium 3, the heat absorbing pipe 1 can be held approximately in a cylindrical shape. Further, in this case, since an excessive stress is not exerted on the heat absorbing pipe 1, it is easymost, desirable, and well suitable that gas, e.g. air, is used as the heating medium 3. Since the heat absorbing pipe 1 has structure in which it is easy to bend against a stress, a thermal stress generated at a joint between a glass pipe 5 and the heat absorbing pipe 1 due to thermal expansion may be reduced, and there is no need to situate a thermal strain absorbing member, e.g. bellows.
