SOLUTION: In this resin welding method for manufacturing a resin welded body by welding a first resin member to a second resin member, a laser beam where light intensity at a center part is set lower than that in a circumferential part at least at an end on a laser beam incidence side of a planned welding region is emitted to converge in the planned welding region between the first resin member and the second resin member; and the emission position of the laser beam is relatively moved along the planned welding region to melt the first resin member and the second resin member in the planned welding region. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser machining head capable of measuring the temperature of a machining section without the need for the adjustment of a light receiving lens, even if a protrusion and a recess are formed on/in a workpiece. SOLUTION: The laser machining head 110 is provided with a projection lens 120, a dichroic mirror 125 and a condenser lens 130. The projection lens 120 condenses laser beams from a laser diode 160. The dichroic mirror 125 reflects the condensed laser beams, which irradiate the workpiece 10. The beam receiving lens 130 receives radiant beams emitted from a machining section. The radiant beams are made incident on an optical fiber 152 at a radiant light emitting port 118 arranged at the optical axis 192 and are transmitted to a radiation thermometer 170, enabling the temperature of the machining section to be measured. Even when the irradiation angle of the laser beam or the height of the machining section changes, the radiant beams are received along the optical axis 192 all the time, which eliminates the need for the adjustment of the direction and the position of the receiving lens. SOLUTION: Since the sectional shape of laser beams L perpendicular to an optical axis OA is annular in the laser beam incidence side end part R1 of the region R to be welded, the occurrence of damage (bubbling, clouding, firing, etc.) by an excessive heat input in the irradiation region central part of the laser beams L in the laser beam incidence side end part R1 of the region R and its vicinity is prevented. Since the laser beams L diverge in the region R, the excessive heat input into resin members 5 and 6 are suppressed, and the resin members 5 and 6 are melted properly in the entire region of the region R. SOLUTION: An area along a region R to be welded is irradiated with laser beams L in which a sectional shape perpendicular to an optical axis OA is annular in the laser beam incidence side end part R1 of the region R. The occurrence of damage (bubbling, milky color, fire damage, etc.) by an excessive heat input in the irradiation region central part of the laser beams L in the laser incidence side end part R1 of the region R and its vicinity thereby is prevented. Since the laser beams L converge in the region R, the beam density of the laser beams attenuated by beam absorption is compensated, and resin members 5 and 6 is melted in the entire region of the region R ranging from the laser beam incidence side end part R1 to a laser beam radiation side end part R2.
