摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem with a conventional technique, wherein an electric motor is enlarged and cost is increased to avoid disadvantage that a valve body is fixed due to thermal hysteresis of a deposit.SOLUTION: An annular groove 9 is formed in an outer peripheral wall of a nozzle 4 arranged in an inner gas passage 2 of a housing 3 and an intranozzle cooling water passage 8 is formed by a space (annular groove 9) surrounded by the inside wall of the inner gas passage 2 and the nozzle 4. An inlet pipe 13 and an outlet pipe 14 in communication with the inside of the annular groove 9 is arranged in the housing 3 and are connected to a circulation passage of engine cooling water. Resin seals 10 for preventing the leak of the cooling water are arranged between the nozzles 4 at both of the sides of the annular groove 9 and the inside wall of the inner gas passage 2. The fixation of the valve body 5 is prevented from by preventing the progression of fixation degree of the deposit due to the thermal hysteresis because the heat of the deposit is taken by the cooling water. Thereby, an output torque of an powered actuator 12 can be reduced, thereby miniaturization and cost reduction of the electric motor 18 can be achieved.

The overlapping pieces 3 are overlapped by making oblique cut faces 4 contact each other at the abutment. The oblique cut faces 4, which are inclined faces of a fixed angle inclining to all of the radial direction x, the plate thickness direction y, and the circumferential direction z, correspond to a diagonal of a quadrangular cross section at the intermediate part in the circumferential direction z in the overlapping pieces 3. "The tip end parts of the overlapping pieces 3 are made thinner with a triangular cross section" and "the root parts of the overlapping pieces 3 are made thicker with a pentagonal cross section." Thereby, gaps in the circumferential direction z at the abutment can be sealed only by the root parts of the overlapping pieces 3 forming the pentagonal cross section, leakage in the gaps at the abutment can be prevented, and low leakage in the valve can be achieved.

摘要： When a valve body is rotated toward a full-close position in a valve-close mode, a control portion controls an electric motor so that the rotating speed of the valve body is lower than that in a valve-open mode. A rotating speed of the valve body around the shaft in the valve-close mode is lower than that in the valve-open mode. Thus, when the seal ring is brought into contact with the inner wall surface, an impact generated therebetween can be moderated. While the valve body is rotated toward the full-close position, a seal ring is gradually elastically deformed. A sliding friction between the seal ring and the inner wall surface can be reduced.
