摘要： Conveying mechanism includes first conveying element including upstream end on which feeding assembly for supplying sheet; and second conveying element for defining conveying path to guide sheet with the first conveying element, wherein the second conveying element has turning element including pivotal first and second ends, and displacement element coupled to turning element, pivotal first end is held near first conveying element, pivotal second end is coupled to the displacement element, displacement element along first conveying element defines conveying path when turning element is in a first position where turning element extends along first conveying element, and displacement element translates away from first conveying element while forming corner with turning element when turning element turns from first position to move away from first conveying element.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which can prevent the leakage of a current between a heater energization plate and a conductive bush, even when an insulation distance between the heater energization plate and the conductive bush is reduced and which is high in the degree of freedom in design; and to provide an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: A heating roller 58 is supported by an annular conductive bush 74 at the end of the heating roller 58. The heating roller 58 incorporates a heater 70 such as an electromagnetic induction coil. A heater energization plate 72 is used as a power supply means for the heater 70. The heater energization plate 72 is obtained by bend-processing a long metal plate. Part of the heater energization plate 72 approaches the conductive bush 74 and is covered with an insulating member 78. The insulating member 78 is formed in such a manner that an insulating shrinkable tube is inserted into the heater energization plate 72 and then, is shrunk by the heat of the heating roller 58, to come into close contact with the heater energization plate 72.
