摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a simple and effective detection method by measuring, using a pair of Hall effect sensors opposed to each other around a rigid multipolar ring, the fluctuation of a magnetic field generated by the ring which is integrated with the shaft of a pump and which has north and south magnetic poles distributed alternately on its circumference. CONSTITUTION: A rigid multipolar ring 1 mounted around the rotating shaft of a pump comprises alternately arranged north and south magnetic poles, which are subdivided into six sectors of e.g. 60 degrees each, with each of the sectors corresponding to one of the cylinders of a six-cylinder engine. Two Hall effect sensors 5, 6 are arranged on radially opposite sides while facing the multipolar ring 1 with a pole-to-pole interval. Signals A, B generated respectively by the Hall effect sensors 5, 6 are processed by an electronic interface, and signals E, F generated thereby provide a computer with information about the detection of the cylinders to be guided over the entire cycle of the engine.

CONSTITUTION: The device described has an injection pump including a hub 1 secured on a camshaft. The hub 1 is received in a box 2 applied by driving force. Rollers 4, 5 are arranged in the box 2 at a distance from a shaft of the device. The rollers 4, 5 are located in recesses 6, 7, displaceable in angular directions by pistons 8, 9. The pressure in pressure chambers 12, 13 connected to a pressurized fluid supply source, defined in the rear portion of each piston 8, 9 is adjusted by the operation of a slide valve 19 affected by a centrifugal action weight 15. In this case, an additional piston 32 applied by the pressure in the pressure chamber 12 is provided. A spring 18 is compressed by the movement of the additional piston so that the centrifugal action weight 15 and the force applied thereto is variable.

A Hall effect sensor 2 fixed at a front surface of the multipolar ring 1 is composed of a Hall cell 2a and an electronic forming means 2b to output an analogue signal A and a digital signal D. In addition, an electronic processing interface 3 converts the digital signal D into a detection signal G by two monostable circuits 3a, 3b and an OR logic gate 3c. An angular speed and an angular position of an injection pump can thus be correctly detected, and static timing can be precisely performed.

Since the deformation of this kind of part is essentially determined by pressure difference between the exterior and the interior of the part, the external side of the inner material of the nozzle 2 constructing a guide is subjected to a certain pressure by the volume 3 while the internal side thereof is subjected to a pressure decreasing gradually due to space 2C, and the differential pressure compensates and decreases the change of the space 2C at a point 1A. As a consequence, the change of the initial play is compensated in some portions while decreased in other portions. In such a manner, a static leakage flow from the space can be controlled.
