    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a configuration in which short-circuiting between a main coil connecting wire and an auxiliary coil connecting wire can be easily prevented in a capacitor-type single-phase induction motor in which the main coil and the auxiliary coil are wound on a stator by concentrated winding.
      SOLUTION: The capacitor-type single-phase induction motor includes a stator core having multiple teeth substantially annularly arranged around an axial line, a main coil 8 and an auxiliary coil 9 wound on each of the teeth by concentrated winding, a main coil connecting wire 8a connecting together the main coils 8 wound on the teeth, and an auxiliary coil connecting wire 9a connecting together the auxiliary coils 9 wound on the teeth. The main coil connecting wires 8a are arranged on one side in the direction of the axial line of the stator core. The auxiliary coil connecting wires 9a are arranged on the other side in the direction of the axial line of the stator core.
