SOLUTION: A continuous underground wall forming excavator includes two cutter drums 11, 11, a suction device, and a body part 13, and a cut surface cleaning jig 2 is combined with the excavator. With this arrangement, the excavator has a cleaning function. The two cutter drums 11, 11 are parallelly disposed so that rotation axes 111 are disposed parallel to each other below the body part 13 so as to be rotated in opposite directions a, b. A cut surface cleaning jig 2 includes a plurality of brushes 21 and a mount member 22. The bushes 21 are mounted on the member 22 so as to be spaced apart, one from another. The member 22 has flexibility so that it can be wrapped around the outer periphery of the drums 11, 11.

摘要： PURPOSE:To permit the excavation of a trench of a length more than the total diameter of a trencher by a method in which plural frames incorporated with a driver and tipped with a horizontal rotary cutter are pivotally attached to the trencher and a forced-rocking mechanism is additionally provided for each frame. CONSTITUTION:A pair of frames 2 are sideways arranged and attached to the framed machine body 1 through shafts 3 in such a way as to enable the frames 2 to be forcibly moved in a rocking manner by operation of liquid- pressure devices 4 having a reaction support point on the machine body 1. The rotary shaft 6 of a horizontal rotary cutter 5 provided on the tip of the frame 2 is driven by a driver 7 built in the frame 2. The distance between the shafts 3 is made greater than the diameter of the butter 5 and the width of the cutter 5 is set to the size of a trench to be excavated. The left- and right-hand cutters 5 are separated from each other by a distance corresponding to the difference between the distance of the shafts 3 and the diameter. The trench can thus be finished with a constant width (or thickness).

摘要： PURPOSE:To perform sheathing work reasonably and economically by a method in which plural pipes are driven into the ground to form a pipe line, the ground on one side of the pipe line is excavated, and a shelf plate is horizontally inserted into the aperture between the pipes and connected to the pipes. CONSTITUTION:Plural pipes 1 are driven to a given depth almost vertically into the ground in the boundary of an excavation area to form a pipe line. A shelf plate 6 is almost horizontally inserted into the aperture between the adjacent pipes 1 for an adequate distance and connected with bolts 7 to support the upside of the ground. The excavation of the ground is continued while keeping the stable condition of the plate 6. when the excavation reaches an adequate depth, a shelf plate 6 is again inserted. The same operations are repeated in succession. The ground can thus be excavated reasonably and economically in conformity with the properties of wide ranges of ground.
