摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a multi-pole circuit breaker in a modular structure for enabling assembly of a certain number of circuit breakers in the standard size of module. CONSTITUTION: A shielding module 14 is made of a plastic material and formed by a parallelepiped mono-block cartridge 16 which is stored inside a section corresponding to a bottom plate 88. The cartridge 16 stores at least static contacts 34, 36 and arc-diextinguishing chamber and a terminal 40, and a pair of joining pieces 38, 42 for the purpose of providing connection to the releasing module 46 of the same pole. A mechanical operation module 122, consisting of a switching bar 82 and an operational mechanism 60, is fixed to a cover 90. A rotary releasing bar 52 is supported by a clipping means 138 on the bottom surface of the cover 90. A recess 114 and a cut 138 are arranged on a spacer 94 of the bottom plate 88, and an auxiliary assembly A consisting of a set of a shielding module 14 and releasing modules 46, 46a is adjacent to an auxiliary assembly B, consisting of the cover 90 on which a mechanical operational module 122, a releasing bar 52 and a latch are attached so as to be the first support surface of a switching bar 82 and a releasing bar 52.

摘要： PURPOSE: To aim at prevention of fluttering of contacts or premature fatigue thereof by providing constitution that allows the operational point of a spiral spring for moving to a movable contact between the opening position and the closing position of a fork-like movable point. CONSTITUTION: When a short-circuit current is generated on a pole, due to electrodynamic repulsive effect, a movable contact 22 makes a high-speed turning motion around a spindle 84 so as to open the contact of a defective pole. When the contact 22 makes its turning motion, a flexible link 94 slides to the inside of a balance slot 98, and the position of the action point of a force applied by springs 90 (90a, 90b) approaches the spindle 84. In this way, the recovery torque for the contact 22 to wards its open position decreases, so that fluttering or fatigue of the contact 22 can be prevented.

Two coupling rods 28 penetrating rod piece 20 couple together the rod pieces 20 of adjoining single pole units, and thereby a crank rotation is generated. According to this configuration, a simple multi-pole circuit breaker equipped with a plurality of single pole units can be accomplished.
