摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impeller for an aeration/agitation apparatus of air self-suction type, which belongs to the latter group of the impellers exposed in a liquid tank in conventional techniques, the shape of which is made special to increase the aeration/agitation force thereof, in which impurities are neither involved nor entangled, the aeration/agitation action of which is kept even when the depth of water becomes deep, which is inexpensive and the maintenance of which is facilitated. SOLUTION: The aeration/agitation impeller is fit to the lower end of a rotatable hollow shaft to be placed vertically. A first example of this impeller is a flat hollow impeller the upper and lower surfaces of which are covered with a flat plate, on the side face of which spiral blades are arranged and in which a gas discharge port is arranged between the tip part of one spiral blade and the base part of the adjacent other spiral blade. A second example of this impeller is the impeller in which a plurality of spiral blades are fit vertically to the hollow shaft while keeping a constant space between the adjacent spiral blades, the plurality of spiral blades are housed between two flat plates, an opening is arranged in the central part of a flat plate on the outside of the space, an upper flat plate on the inside of the space is communicated with the hollow shaft and a lower flat plate on the inside of the space is fixed to keep a constant gap between the upper flat plate and the lower flat plate.
