摘要： PURPOSE:To measure the deformability of erythrocyte accurately. CONSTITUTION:A measuring pipe 1, which is filled with solvent in the inside, is provided at the lower end of a filter 2 having many hole parts for controlling erythrocyte and immersed into sample liquid, wherein the erythrocyte is suspended in dispersing medium. When the pressure in the measuring pipe 1 is made to be negative, the sample liquid is guided into the measuring pipe 1. The deformability of the erythrocyte is obtained based on the differential pressure between the pressure in the measuring pipe 1 and the pressure of the sample liquid generated at the rise-up time of the sample liquid. Therefore, this apparatus has the following parts. A container 3 is filled with the sample liquid, wherein the erythrocyte is suspended in the dispersing medium. A sucking pump 6 is provided. The filter 2, which has many holes for controlling the passage of the erythrocyte, is attached to the lower end of the measuring pipe 1 and submerged into the sample liquid. The other end of the measuring pipe 1 is connected to the sucking pump 6. A minute-differential-pressure detector 9 detects the difference between the pressure of a sucking pipe 5 and the pressure of the sample liquid. An operating part obtains the deformability of the erythrocyte based on the change in rise-up time of differential pressure, which is detected with the differential-pressure detector 5 immediately after the start of the sucking with the sucking pump 6.

摘要： PURPOSE:To measure the deformability of erythrocyte accurately. CONSTITUTION:When sample liquid is made to flow through a filter 2 so that the liquid flowing through the filter portion 2 changes uniformly and rapidly from only dispersion medium to the sample liquid where erythrocyte is suspended in the dispersion medium, the rise time change of differential pressure between the upstream side and the downstream side of the filter 2 is determined by a high sensitivity pressure meter 9. The deformability of the erythrocyte is determined based on the change of the differential pressure. A device for this purpose is provided with the filter 2 having a large number of hole portions of a diameter controlling the passage of the erythrocyte, a measuring tube 1 equipped with tube portions having the approximately same inner diameter with a filter diameter on the upstream side and the downstream side of the filter 2 respectively, the high sensitivity pressure meter 9 detecting the differential pressure between the upstream side and the downstream side, and a computing portion determine the erythrocyte deformability based on the determined differential pressure.
