A plurality of shaped bodies can be provided successively to form a shaped body group.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a light emission display surface of a display body illuminate with light emitted by an LED lamp as a light source provided to the display body, and to use the LED lamp even as a light source for backlighting.
      SOLUTION: A light emitting display device includes the display body 1 constituted by incorporating the LED lamp 3 as the light source in a main body 2 in the display body made of light-transmissive resin. The display body 1 is put over a back plate 5 installed on a plate surface of a reflecting plate 4 and made of light-transmissive resin. A color film 7 may be sandwiched between the display body 1 and back plate 7. The light emitted by the LED lamp 3 is spectrally diffused into light X1 transmitted through the light emission display surface 21 of the main body 2 in the display body, light X2 emitted to a circumference of the display body 1, and light X3 emitted to a circumference of the back plate 5.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform light emission display over the entire surface of a front plate arranged at an opening hole of a box-shaped housing while a light emission unit stored in the box-shaped housing is prevented from being exposed to wind and rain or stained with dust, and to avoid cases wherein an outer peripheral part of the front plate is shielded by an edge frame member and a portion of the front plate is not seen to be lack when obliquely viewed.
      SOLUTION: The front plate 4 having light transmissivity is arranged at the opening hole of the box-shaped housing 20 containing the light emission unit 1. At a fitting part between the front plate 4 and the opening hole of the box-shaped housing 20, a projection part 42 of the front plate 4 is engaged with an end part of an outside plate 22 of the box-shaped housing 20 and the end of the outside plate 22 is put in an inside corner part 43 of the front plate 4 to abut against a collar-shaped surface 41 of the front plate 4. The end of the outside plate 22 and the projection part 42 are bonded together with an adhesive 7.
