Based on the measured forward and backward travel distances d1 and d2 and offset width (v) of each course of movement, the controlling device calculates the angles of turnabout R1 and R2 for differential control.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily clean all contaminated exposure parts of a cleaner by arranging sealingly a filter between the bottom face of an inner chamber and an area under a cover, and in such a manner that the filter is replaceable. SOLUTION: This swimming pool cleaner sucks a contaminated water in a swimming pool into the contaminated exposure part 5' of an inner chamber through an intake opening part 3 and filtrates the contaminated water using a filter 6, and further, sends out the filtered water to the outside from a housing 1 through an outlet opening part 7. The filter 6 to be used is preferably a lamellar filter of cylindrical shape which has one face coming into contact with the bottom face 8 of the inner chamber and the other face coming into contact with the underside 9 of a cover 10. Therefore, the contaminated water cannot pass from the contaminated exposure part 5' of the inner chamber to the clean part 5" of the inner chamber. When the cleaner is cleaned, the cleaner is pulled out of the swimming pool and the filter 6 can be drawn upward and removed by taking off the cover 10. Thus, it is possible to easily clean the contaminated exposure part 5' of the inner chamber.
